Jeongin ran down the hallway with Jisung in his arms after he knocked him out and weakened his power with the green liquid. He was pissed that he had to waste it, but it was necessary. The young hero tried to find his way out, but there was nothing else besides hallways, rooms, open spaces, and more fucking hallways. He was kind of worn out with the fight he had with Jisung, but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. The thing that was getting him though was the alarm and how much time it was taking to find where the exit was. The building was designed like a built-in maze.
Jeongin ran up a staircase, hoping to find the exit, but he couldn't. When he ran out into another hallway, he hid himself in a dark room when he saw robots or machines make their way down the large corridor. He locked the door and placed Jisung down up against the wall gently. Jisung was twitching and whimpering softly as if he was in pain even though he was unconscious. The hero felt bad that he had to use it on him, but he needed to get him out. The amount of green liquid was enough to knock out a class four superhuman like Sinister, so he figured that he had used too much for Jisung. He knew that the boy was going to be unconscious for a couple of days at least.
Jeongin took out an object that looked like a watch and put it on his wrist before trying to get in touch with Felix, but it didn't work. The watch was actually a hidden device for communication. It looked like an everyday object to use. Jeongin pressed a button, but only a glitching hologram of Felix appeared. Their communication was down and it made Jeongin panick. He needed to find Felix too, but that would take longer. He had to a choice between finding Felix or leaving him here to get back-up.
Jeongin heard the loud stomping of metal run by which indicated that the robots ran pass. What was this place? Where did these robots come from? Was Sinister really here? If he was, no wonder why they couldn't find him. He was literally hundreds of miles away from the city and in a cave that went under the lake. The service and wifi were terrible out here and there was nothing but woods and dirt roads.
The real question was how was he going to get out of here with Jisung? How did Jisung have powers? They must have done something to him, especially when Jisung was on the villain side now. He mustn't worry about that part though. His plan was to escape with Jisung and take him to safety.
But... how?
Jeongin groaned quietly. What was he going to do? He can't just run around with Jisung and expect it to go smoothly. The robots were easy to destroy, but the quantity of them was the problem. He remembered that the elevator took him down, so his best shot was to find an elevator or staircase that took him up. He was going to have to pray that his directions were correct.
The building had multiple elevators scattered and it took a certain order to find the real exit. The building itself was a nightmare to navigate through. An intruder, such as himself and Felix, would have a difficult time locating the exit. How could a building be underwater? Was this a secret power or something?
Jeongin listened and noticed no more footsteps, so with a lot of consideration, the hero picked Jisung up in his arms and unlocked the door. He opened quietly before sprinting away, pass the giant glass windows that looked out into the lake. Jeongin saw a steel door and he opened it, thankful to see a staircase that looked like it led through the entire building. Surely this would lead to the exit?
Jeongin ran up the stairs, cringing and fearing he would be heard by the loud echoes, but that didn't stop him. He ran up the stairs and he softly gasped when a door was opened above him, making him think quickly and run out another steel door. He squeaked in fright when a couple of robots turned around to see him there. Jeongin ran for it when he aimed their weapons at him.
Where the bloody hell is the exit?!
Jeongin heard the robots talk, but he wasn't too keen on hearing at the moment. He ran down a hallway and threw open two double doors, leading into a giant room like a ballroom. It was very spacious, but empty. It had chandeliers and giants windows and curtains that allowed you to see the lake, but that was it.
