Jisung woke up in the middle of the night with the TV now playing some child cartoon since Jisung finished the movie hours ago. He woke up for no apparent reason which was very annoying, but to allow himself to sleep better, he turned off the TV so he could sleep in peaceful silence.
Jisung turned over on his opposite side, now facing the cushion of the sofa so he could sleep in a more comfortable position. Unfortunately, his stomach began to grumble loudly, wanting food. Jisung didn't know what time it was, but he could tell that it was very early in the morning and it was no time to be eating right now.
Yet, Jisung couldn't sleep no matter how hard he tried and his stomach just made it worse. Jisung was used to being fed ever since he got here, so he didn't have to worry about it. Now that Jisung had freedom around the mansion, he had no idea if he should get food himself or just wait till Chan returns, where ever he might be.
Jisung had enough, and finally decided to get up and go get some sort of snack from their refrigerator or something. The male threw the blanket off of him and shivered when he realized how cold it was, so he instantly picked up the blanket and wrapped it around himself as he waddled into the kitchen to hunt down some food.
Jisung waddled into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator; the lights blinding him automatically which made him groan. His eyes fluttered opened as he forced them to adjust and he was meant with a ton of things. There was sodas and water, fruits and vegetables, and other things. Jisung being Jisung decided to check their freezer where he was blessed with the sight of desserts. Yep, he was taking the desserts.
Jisung went through the freezer with the blanket around him, finding small tubs of ice cream, cakes, and other unfamiliar desserts Jisung had never seen before. What caught his eye though was a frozen cheesecake container that was not yet opened. Jisung snatched it and closed the freezer, happy he found his midnight snack even though it was almost four in the morning.
Jisung ran throughout the kitchen trying to find a fork or some kind of utensil to eat his cheesecake, or the cheesecake he stolen. When he found the utensil drawer, he smiled in victory before grabbing a fork and waddling back into the living room, only to almost have a heart attack when he saw Hyunjin standing there.
"Oh my gosh... you gave me a heart attack!" Jisung whispered yelled as he pointed his fork at Hyunjin who seemed exhausted.
"What are you doing with that entire thing of cheesecake?" Hyunjin rasped, making Jisung feel a type of way.
Jisung took in Hyunjin completely. There wasn't much lighting except for the night light installed in one of the walls, but Jisung almost choked when he looked Hyunjin up and down entirely. He was wearing a light purple shirt with loose sweatpants hanging around his hips with his black, long, messy hair in front of his eyes. He looked... normal, but good.
The only thing that didn't seem normal was the white bandage around Hyunjin's eye. Of course, it was hard to see with the dim lighting and the shadows his black hair formed, but Jisung could definitely see a white material covering the area around Hyunjin's left eye.
"I was... just getting a midnight snack," Jisung innocently spoke with the blanket wrapped securely around him and over his head.
"That looks like a midnight meal to me..." Hyunjin mumbled.
"But I am hungry," Jisung pouted as he hugged the container to his chest protectively. "I can't sleep and I want food. This is mine."
"You are not eating an entire thing of cheesecake by yourself. Get a slice... not the entire cake," Hyunjin affirmed as he opened the refrigerator to get a cold bottle of water, clearly not too concerned for the cheesecake.
