In front of him was a very familiar, steel door. Why was it familiar? Because it was the door that used to lock him inside many months ago; the room he was locked in when he was first brought here. Of course, those memories still had huge holes and he didn't remember too much for some odd reason, but he did remember his first time here. However, unlike the first time he came here, he wasn't the one locked up. It was Felix; someone that used to mean so much to him.

Jisung stared at the door handle, contemplating on whether or not this was a good idea or not. He wanted to visit Felix and perhaps start to take care of him since nobody else would, but that wasn't the only reason why he was here. The main reason why he was here was to see how he currently felt about the freckled male. Seeing him in person in his current state would definitely bring out the real Jisung deep inside him, but if those feelings for Felix were faint, then perhaps it was best to just kill Felix. If he didn't care for him anymore, then why let him live?

Jisung wasn't really feeling anything at the moment. His heart rate was normal, indicating that he wasn't the slightest bit nervous to visit the prisoner. His lips had formed a small frown since he had his neutral, resting expression on. A huge part of him just wanted to tell Hyunjin that he had his permission to kill Felix to make him happy, but he wanted to check. He wanted to see if Felix still meant a lot more than what he was thinking.

Allowing his hand to press down the handle, he opened the door which created a loud creaking. A small dim light could be seen from without as well as those familiar, scattered chains all around the floor. Those rusty and restricting chains that used to bound him all those months ago, or maybe even a year ago. It had been a very long time since he had been locked up in this room... the start of his life with Hyunjin.

It wasn't until he actually walked down the stairs to look to the right where a chained boy was found lying motionless on the ground. Did he physically react to the scene? No. Did his heart react? Yes.

His heart seemed to have stopped for a second, creating a painful sensation within his chest. His eyes looked at the prisoner, not even knowing if he was alive or not. His blonde hair had gotten long, now covering his forehead and eyes. His face was up against the floor with the hair blocking most of his upper face, preventing the blue-haired male from confirming if he was sleeping or dead. From where he was standing, he couldn't see no movement. Not even breathing.

Jisung was frozen. He didn't know the cause of it though. Was it shock? Disbelief? Anguish? Fear?

He stared at the pale, lifeless body from afar, not knowing what he should do. On the inside, he felt like his chest was filling up with so many emotions that they were about to take form as tears. He felt like his chest was weighing him down on the inside, feeling the guilt. His heart felt like it was breaking and tearing apart. Yet, he stood there. Just... stood there... almost as if he was too afraid to walk forward and confirm it himself.

Was this his answer? Did he still have a connection to Felix that he couldn't quite let go of permanently? Was his frozen state and conflicted emotions a sign? But if he's already dead... then there is nothing he could do. That means that Hyunjin no longer needs his permission. He doesn't have to think about it. The choice had already been made before he could even choose, but Jisung still felt a bit guilty. He could've prevented this. Prevented Felix's death.

He began to walk forward slowly, wanting to make sure. Maybe Felix was extremely tired and didn't wake up when he opened the door or walked down the stairs. He wouldn't blame him. He already knew that Felix was probably suffering from the lack of sleep. In a cold room with no bed, pillows, warmth, food, and water, he had no doubt that he was suffering. On top of all of that, Felix was scared for his life and lived in terror for the past few months.
