Jisung decided to do a little exploring around the room starting with the floor. He was crawling around on his knees and on his wrists, but he made sure not to put too much weight on them in fear of the wounds bleeding or tearing open again. Jisung looked at the small bookshelves that were placed around the room.
He found a few books that were covered in dust. The room was filled with dust. It was visible against the giant television screen, the bookshelves, and any spot that looked like it was unoccupied. Jisung wanted to do a bit of cleaning since he had nothing to do and was just completely bored, but he didn't have any materials to do it. He found a few books that he could read in his spare time, but Jisung didn't feel like reading no matter how bored he really was. If they had interesting plots, maybe, but the books he found were old and were written in a very formal way in which Jisung couldn't understand.
He crawled towards the bed, looking underneath. He saw the chains Hyunjin brought the first day he was kept here but he also saw a few cardboard boxes hidden underneath. He grabbed the first box and opened it, but nothing was in it much to his disappointment. The second one he grabbed from underneath felt a bit heavier though, which sparked his curiosity.
When he took it out and opened it, he saw an old jewelry box there. He opened it and found a few rings in there, but that was it. He took one of the rings and tried fitting the old ring on his pinky finger, but it didn't fit at all. The rings were rather small and weren't really unique. They were simple, plain silver rings. He wondered why these were even down here in the first place.
Jisung placed everything back into the box and moved it under the bed where it originally was. The room didn't take long to explore since there was barely anything in it, but it was understandable since a person was being kept hostage in it. The room seemed to be an extra room only. There wasn't too much to do. He could always sneak out the room and explore outside, but he doubt he would get far with his ankles and the robots that were probably stationed outside. He was bored out of his mind and he didn't know how much longer he will last. He wished he had something to do. Anything at all.
Or maybe someone to talk to even. He would be happy for it to be Chan, but even Hyunjin's company was something he craved at times like these where he nothing to do and no one to talk to.
Jisung climbed up back on the bed right when the door was thrown open by the one and only Hyunjin. He gave Jisung a heart attack by how sudden his arrival was, but he felt happy, knowing that he finally had some company even if it was the person he hated the most right now.
"What were you doing?" Hyunjin suspiciously questioned when he saw Jisung crawling back onto the bed with slight difficulty, trying to avoid damaging his wounds even more on his wrists.
"I was exploring the room since I was bored. You seriously left me in a room with nothing to do," Jisung complained as he collapsed on the mattress on his back, leaving him sprawled on the bed while Hyunjin closed the door behind him.
"Well, you are a hostage. I can't give you much to do. Who knows what you will do when I give you a bit more freedom," Hyunjin informed, making Jisung roll his eyes. He knew Hyunjin didn't trust him, but it still annoyed him that they literally left him in a boring room.
"Yeah, yeah. Oh! Chan told me you stole my cats!" Jisung sat up quickly and pointed a finger at the taller male accusingly.
"Oh, yeah, because we did. They were too cute to leave behind," Hyunjin confirmed happily.
"When were you going to tell me that?" Jisung crossed his arms.
"I actually forgot that the cats belonged to you. Hehe. Sorry," Hyunjin stuck his tongue out cutely with a small smile while his eyes formed into cresent moons, trying to look innocent.
