9.The sweet morning

(VA was feeding Avu. Avu got tears in her eyes. VA sensed her condition)

VA : Beta I know you are sad. Trust me. I am your mom only. Just like Sid and Faisu you are also mine.

(Avu just hugged her. VA hugged her back. She then wiped her tears. Then again she started feeding her.)

VA : waise beta itni subah kyun uth gayi tum? Thodi aur der so leti.

Avu : No. Everyday I wake up at this time only.

VA : Oh. Tum uth gayi. But inn dono languron ko dekho. Abhi tak ghode bech ke so rahe hain. Har subah ka naatak hain. Mujhe hi inhe uthana padata hain.

(Avu just chuckled. VA noticed her smile first time and she also smiled. She was feeding her. Suddenly Sid came running down)

Sid (panicked and without looking behind VA) : Mom mom.. Avu... I mean Avneet is not in room. Mom where is she? She went somewhere? She left me? No no no that's not possible. Mom chalo use dhundhte hain.

(VA started laughing. Sid got confused. VA move aside. Sid then saw Avu and got relief. He sighed. Faisu came down running. He pushed Sid aside and hugged VA and started hooting)

Faisu : I won. I won. Sid you lost.

Sid : Ha ha thik hain.

VA : kya chal raha hain?

Faisu : Hamne race lagayi thi jo aapko pehele hug karega woh jit jayega.

VA : Oh god. You are still kids.

Sid and Faisu : Yep we are.

(All burst into laughter. Avu was admiring them)

VA : Okok now it's fine. Faisu you go get ready for office. And Sid you and Avu are going to shiva temple today. So get ready. And wear some Indian. Apne fate hue kapde mat pehenana.

Sid : Mom yaar..

(Faisu and VA laughed)

VA : okok ab jao. Baad me breakfast kar lena. I am helping Avu to get ready.

Avu : No it's..

VA : I said na I will help.

Avu : Ok

VA ( to Sid and Faisu) : Ab mera muh kya dekh rahe ho? Jao jaldi.

Sid and Faisu : yeah.

(They both went to get ready. VA and Avu also went to get ready)
