Exposed
NARRATOR'S POV
"Ni, can you turn down the volume? I'm trying to read." Harry asked the boy. Niall easily complied, making the younger boy say a quick "thank you" with a smile. They were currently studying for a test—not the same one though, so they couldn't help each other review for it."Can you maybe turn the temp lower?" Harry asked once he shivered, feeling the air become a little colder. Niall sighed, but did it anyway. He put his laptop down, standing up to reach for the thermostat. He tilted his head as he stared at Harry.
"better?" Niall asked in a subtle annoyed tone. Harry hummed, not even glancing back at the other boy.
Harry has noticed how nicer Niall has been lately. No more messy kitchen counters, no more popcorn filled coffee tables, and basically, no more things that made Harry furious. Niall was beginning to understand that Harry wasn't in the condition to be annoyed, and he wouldn't dare to even try to test it.
Niall was well aware that Harry is pregnant and fragile—and of course, no one would purposefully stress out a pregnant person because...it's practically just basic decency.
That made Harry happier because Niall would do whatever he'd ask for with no questions asked. He'd ask Niall to massage his feet whenever it felt sore. He'd ask him to make him sandwiches—only sandwiches...because Harry has forbidden him from using anything that involved cooking, baking or anything that included machinery that could possibly burn down the place. We all know the reason why.
And yeah, he basically had Niall with him 24/7 which meant that he didn't need anyone else to cater to his very pregnant needs. However, Harry has been feeling terrible for Niall lately since he's been too worked up. Not that it's a bad thing, but Harry thought that it was unfair for Niall to be doing these things when Louis was there in the first place.
Harry has been contemplating on calling Louis to have him come over, especially in times where he just needed comfort and support, and he was very aware of how weird that sounds. But, that is not the only reason why he couldn't bring himself to invite him over. Mainly, it was because of the fact that no one still knew about Louis being his baby daddy.
It was shocking—how it's been 3 months, and still not a single soul knew about their little secret. Harry was impressed by how diligently Louis kept his mouth shut about it.
Harry still had no plans of telling anyone yet—well, because he wanted to keep his life quiet as of now. He wasn't ready to face the consequences, and as long as Tom wasn't gonna mess with him, he would keep it to himself until he's fully prepared to deal with it.
However, as Harry's belly continued to grow, more symptoms of a normal pregnant person was beginning to emerge. He started having these urges—of wanting the feeling of having someone take care of him...other than Niall, of course.
Don't get Harry wrong, Niall was helpful, but he needed a person who was truly on board with him—Someone who also cared for the baby as much as he did, and obviously....that was Louis.
Harry decided that it was quite unfair to keep Louis away. They only ever saw each other whenever Harry would have checkups, which was every other week. Harry thought that it would be best if he'd start to ask him for help, just so Louis can be present throughout the whole pregnancy.
Besides, Louis is generous. Whenever they'd part ways after a checkup, he'd always make sure to tell Harry that he was available at all times if ever he needed him..for the baby.
So, maybe Harry will start calling him up.
Harry closed his book, furrowing his brows at his phone, which was placed on the coffee table in front of him. Is today a good day to call him over?
