My body slammed into the seat at the back of the bus from exhaustion, both physical and mental. Spending hours of training and practicing game plays and possible scenarios for the finals in the heat.

The scenarios that Coach Richard threw at us weren't ones that were thought of on the spot. The responses and methods to handle them were things that show how experienced he was.

Not only that, I had to be a good team player and play nice with David, who was on my team for the friendly game. Which wasn't fun, because I very much wanted to beat him at the friendly. Just to hurt him in some way, that's close to how he'd hurt me.

Cold, I know. But how would you treat a person when they rejected you?

Sitting in the bus seat with sweats laying like a second skin made me cringe. All I wanted to do was get back to the hotel and take a very long shower. And try to enjoy the rest of this Aussie day as possible.

What made me cringe even more was when Timmy, Diego, Josiah, Jade, and Tylan decided to fill the empty seats. Pressing their bodies up against mine, causing the urge to jump out of my skin.

As I was sending messages to the girls and my Dad, the feeling of being watched grow strong. Turn my head to the left and right to find all guys staring at me, "Do you have something to say?"

Tylan was the first one to ask, "Are you ok, Jennifer?"

"Yes, why?"

"Because you literally went on a rampage against your own team." Timmy burst out the thing that was hanging in the air. None of them knew how to make known that's sugar coated.

Raising an eyebrow in confusion, "What are you talking about?"

"When we were playing against Ryan's team during the friendly game, there were times when you would give a 'must be brutal' vibe."

My eyebrows pulled together, becoming almost defensive, "No, I wasn't."

"Hawkins, you would cut through the other team's defense and made like eight headers and made hard trickles." Riley deadpan while having this look of suspicious. Which most of the others had while having concern mixed with. "All which are clean trickles."

Then I felt Timmy placing his hand against my forehead, "You're feeling sick?"

"No."

"Are you on your period?" Diego asked nervously. If I were on my period, they would have known and would have not be sitting with me. "No."

Then Josiah pulled out his phone, which was opened on this period app, "The app says that she'll only get it next week Thursday."

"Remind me again," I said while trying not to break the phone. My patience with these boys, "Why did you download the app if none of you's have a girlfriend?"

"Have you forgotten the match against Sliver Buffalos three weeks after being on the team?" Timmy asked with eyes widen from terror. Giving him a deadpan stare, not in any mood of walking down memory lane. "The first time the team experienced the 'Blood Moon'."

"The first day of your cycle and the days leading up to it." Diego said, shivering in fear as he recalls the week that the 'Blood Moon' happened. "The mixed emotions that changed nearly every five minutes. We had to try to get you pads a few minutes before the game started. Because the bleeding started as we were warming up and you burst into crying in the locker room from embarrassment."

Crossing my arms while starting at them with a more annoyed expression, "It wasn't as dramatic as you guys are making it seemed. Also, their Buffalos' cheerleaders were the ones who helped me with pads and clean shorts. While you guys were trying to make the situation less awkward with very bad jokes."
