30. Morning talk

Namjoon's POV

"Did you take care of it?" I asked Jungkook on the phone while driving.

"Yes Hyung, Zico's gonna probably see his message tomorrow."

I clenched my jaw.

Just hearing his name makes me wanna punch something.

"Good, thanks for today Jungkook."

"No problem Hyung, I'll see you tomorrow."

"Yeah, see you.."

I ended the call, I continued to drive, I was on my way back home to Jaeni, it was already midnight so Soobin would definitely be asleep. Jaeni might still be awake but I hope she's asleep by now because I don't want her to stay up late.

I sighed, I have to keep a close watch on her and Soobin, Zico might take any chance to do something to them and I don't want that to happen.

I pulled up into my garage, parking my car, some guards on duty greeted me as I walked in the house. I went upstairs, quickly passing by Soobin's room to check on him, I quietly opened the door to see him fast asleep, I smiled a little. I carefully closed the door and walked to me and Jaeni's room.

I opened the door carefully and walked in, I saw that she was already asleep on the bed, I sighed and walked over to her, I leaned down and kissed her forehead, she stirred in her sleep but still had her eyes closed. I quickly walked to the bathroom to wash up and changed in the closet.

Once I was freshened up, I walked then laid down on the bed next to Jaeni. Once I was comfortable, I pulled Jaeni closer to me, she groans as she laid her head on my chest. "Mhmm, Joonie.." She mumbles sleepily, her eyes still closed. "Did I wake you babe? Sorry.." I said and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her closer to me.

"It's fine, I was only half asleep anyway.." She said and then sighed, nuzzling into my chest. "I took care of it." I said. She freezes for a moment before looking at me. "Did someone..ordered them to do it?" She asked. "Yes, it was Zico." I said and she froze again.

She knew who Zico was, he's been my enemy since my college years, same time me and Jaeni started dating. He's been out of the country since our last encounter and I haven't heard from him since, but now, he decides to show up.

"It's...been awhile since you last defeated him right?" Jaeni said. "Yeah, guess he decided to show up now, but don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you and Soobin, I made a promise to protect you two and I will thay promise." I said and held her tighter. "I know you will."

She sighed. "Get some sleep Joonie, you've been out all day and night." "I will babe, love you." I said and kissed her forehead. "I love you too."

Jaeni's POV

I groaned as I opened my eyes, it was already early morning so I sighed. I felt arms around my waist from behind so I turned over to Namjoon who was still asleep. I smiled as I stared at his sleeping face, he looked so peaceful, full pinkish lips yet his facial bone structure was manly.

I leaned in and kissed his nose, when I pulled away, he groans and opens his eyes. "Babe? You're awake already?" He said sleepily. "Yeah, just a little while ago." I said as he buried his face at the crook of my neck, still sleepy.

"Irene and Jackson's wedding is this weekend." I said as ruffled his hair. "Yes, do you wanna go shopping for an outfit?" He asked. "Yes actually." "Okay, you should bring Jisoo with you."

"I will, I'll call her later to ask, will you be okay with watching Soobin?" I asked. "Yes, you don't need to worry about him, just enjoying shopping with Jisoo, I'll give you my card, go shop for other things as well." He said and I looked at him. "Your card? I can buy my dress and I don't really need new clothes as well." I said.

Namjoon sighs and suddenly gets on top of me making me yelp. "I want you to use my card babe, you're the love of my life and the mother of my son, you deserve everything new." He said and pecked my lips causing me to blush. "Understand love?"

"Y-yes."

"Okay, come on let's get up."
