16. Family Bonding

Jaeni's POV

"We're here.." Namjoon announced as he pulled up into a parking spot. "Yay!" Soobin said excitedly. Me and Namjoon got out of the car before I picked Soobin up from the backseat. We walked into the mall with Soobin in my arms and Namjoon wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Let's go.." He said and I nodded. We walked in the mall and headed for a restaurant.

"Hey, that's the famous CEO Kim Namjoon." I heard.

"You're right, who's he with? There's also a child!"

"He has a son? So that woman is his wife or something?"

"I thought he wasn't married!"

We hear more rumors as we walked making me slightly uncomfortable. "Babe, don't mind them." Namjoon said.

I forgot Namjoon was a famous businessman.

We finally arrived at a restaurant and was given a table. I sat Soobin down as me and Namjoon sat on either side of him. "Here sweetie, what do you want on the menu?" I asked showing Soobin the food options. "I want chips and chicken mommy!" He said. "Can you finish all of that son?" Namjoon asked.

"Yes daddy! I like eating." Soobin said and Namjoon smiled. "Well, since you're gonna finish your food, I'll get you an ice cream sundae for dessert." Namjoon said and Soobin's eyes sparkled in excitement. "Really daddy?!"

"Really." Namjoon said smiling and Soobin smiled as well. "Yay! Thank you daddy!" Soobin said, standing up on his seat and hugged Namjoon. "You're welcome buddy."

"Namjoon.." I said and he looked at me. "You're doing well." I said and he smiled. A waiter came and took our orders. Minutes later, the food arrived and we started eating, Soobin had chicken sauce all over his face. "Aish, Soobin eat slowly, your food is all over your face." I said while grabbing a tissue and started wiping his face. "Sorry mommy.." He said as I wiped him.

"Here babe, let me." Namjoon said while grabbing the tissues from me. I just let him wipe Soobin's face until he was clean. "Goodness buddy, you're  a messy eater.." Namjoon said as he placed the used tissue down. "It's just delicious!" Soobin said and continued to eat. Me and Namjoon continued to eat as well, I was watching Soobin as he ate then glanced over at Namjoon who was looking me.

"Is there something wrong Joonie?" I asked and he shook his head with a smile. "No, it's just that you look beautiful babe." He said and I blushed a little. "Eew!" Soobin said as he giggled in the end. "Just eat up sweetie." I scolded lightly and he giggled again.

After we ate, Soobin manage to finish his food and got his ice cream sundae for dessert. As he ate up, he talked to Namjoon about literally anything.

This was nice.

My son and his father, the love of my life was bonding.

What I wanted for him.
