Chapter 47

Once we landed on the roof, I held Nezuko's hands together and covered her eyes.

"You need to sleep. Your brother is waiting for you to come back to your senses. Don't you want to see your brother again? Your nii-san, Tanjiro, you want to see him right?"

She slightly stopped struggling and opted on kicking me, cracking a rib in the process. I went behind her to restrain her better.

[Keep working hard and striving towards your goal to become human again.] Nezuko was only slightly struggling against my grip, starting to calm down and hopefully start to get sleepy.

I started to reminisce about what it was like before meeting the siblings.

<"No matter how far I'll go, I'll do my best."> I never had many goals in life, and when I did I was told I had this look in my eye. A look that said that nothing would be able to stop me.

[As time progresses I eventually met you.] Those eyes that held determination to take care of your brother despite the circumstances and pain. Since she was on the verge of relaxing I released my grip on her wrists and laid her down on my lap. I drag my fingers through her hair.'s>

Once she was completely asleep her body shrunk down into child size. Like how it was back at Mt. Natagumo. I pick her up and carefully place her inside her box before jumping on the roof. I find the source of the smoke and run in that direction.

"UUGH!! MY HEAD GOT CUT OFF AGAIN! YOU SHITHEAD, YOU'RE SO GONNA PAY! This sucks, this sucks, this sucks!! Why am I the only one getting cut up?!" The female demon starts whining profusely.

"Would you shut your trap already? Aren't you supposed to be a demon who has lived for a long time, stop acting like a spoiled child and complaining? It's obvious that you are weak that is why your brother is here. You are undoubtedly the weaker one here, you are already annoying enough."

Daki surprised, looks up at me only to find her head falling once more. At the new angle, she is able to see under the hair I use to cover my eye and starts crying more. I was also able to get a better look at her face. "Whaaa, nii-chan! Just kill these shit-"

"Urasai!" For the first time Uzui as well as Inosuke, Tanjiro, and the asleep Zenitsu hear me yell at someone. I can feel the pain of an old injury starting to resurface, and I could feel the anger coursing through my veins. She tried to reach for her head which I impaled with my sword crying even louder. "Urasai!" I cut both of her arms off and they fell limply to the ground before trying to reattach themselves.

"Ugh you bitch, I'm gonna kill you and the rest of you, demon slayers, here! Nii-chan leave this bi-"

"Urasai!" She was once again cut off by me, the only difference was that I stomped on her head with my foot.

"Hey, you! Stop stomping on my sister!"

"Eh?" Since he was facing my side I craned my neck to look the male demon in the eye. My voice, clearly devoid of any emotion. My mouth held in a straight line, and my pupils constricted. " Why don't you die already?"

He threw his sickle towards me, and I quickly rebounded it with my sword. Uzui and the rest of them started their attacks against the male demon and I look down at the one under my foot.

"Are you just going to lay there like a rag doll now that your brother isn't there to help you? What happened to all that bravado earlier, that skrill voice of yours, huh? Where did it go?"

Her body just started to fling itself everywhere like it was a toddler throwing a tantrum. I step down harder on her face before jumping and flipping over a sickle thrown my way. I did not comprehend that the demon would be so fast when catching up to his weapon and was able to cut the skin on my collarbone while I was midair.

Breath of stars: Shooting Stars

I stabbed through the chain of his weapon stopping him from attacking the other people here. My hand grabs the other sword and unsheathes it for the first time. I use the handle of the sword that is holding down the weapon and pivot myself so it is easier to attack the demon. Sadly I was only able to pierce through him once and make a deep gash on one of his arms before ending my attack.

Uzui-san came in and intervened between us and I went to go find the female demon. [My, how I hate the way animosity changes me.] I slightly change my breathing for a second so that the poison's reach slows slightly.

"You remind me of someone a long time ago. Someone old and dead, dead by my doing. I can remember their organs splattered across the ground and their blood pooling around their dead bodies. Ah, such a wonderful memory." She said while smirking at me from the end of an alleyway. I noticed that the regeneration was slowed slightly to the residue of the poison I placed on my sword.

"Rats like you should learn when it is best to keep their mouth shut."

Breath of stars: Virgo

I could feel the wave of animosity in my veins just waiting to be settled. She is temporarily disoriented and I take the time to cut of the blood sash that is blocking my way to her body. The building that Uzui-san was fighting on started to crumble and some debris fell by us, making both of us blind. I take my emotions and shove them down as I close my eyes and rely on sensing for the demon, letting the raging ocean intensify. I change the way I hold the handle of my sword and draw my arm backward.

* IF YOU WERE CONFUSED ABOUT THE BLUSHING KYOJURO IN CHAPTER 42 READ THIS*

Just as a small p.s. I am not trying to make someone feel bad about being confused about this, I'm just going into depth in case there is something that might confuse somebody.

So Senjuro who is Kyojuro's brother says "Nee-san, you have a snake?" Nee-san is basically the way to say older sister to someone. Now that cannot be true, cause that would mean that you would be a child of their mother and father which you are not. The only other way to become his sister/ nee-san would be to marry Kyojuro. Because the brother of your husband is legally your brother-in-law. That happened to be Rengoku's thought process which led him to become a tomato. Also for slight clarification, you did not think that same thing as Kyojuro, you had no thought of marriage at that point and time. :)

If there is more confusion please bring it to my attention, just so I can address it, I know I can be confusing at times, and I don't really have a proofreader to tell me if I am going to confuse someone with my logic. Please feel free to tell me if I confuse you, and I try and read the comments to see if there is but I won't always be able to see everyone.
