The Traveling Musician (Kny X Reader)

Chapter 3

I had arrived at the village and gone to a shop that sells threads to pick up some white, purple, etc. colors. After buying those I went to a shop to purchase a kimono for a friend. As I waited for them to make it, I went to a tea house to see if they wanted someone to play in their store. They said it would be wonderful if I could play on a Shamisen. I took the box off of my back and unlocked it. I moved the layer that carried my koto to reveal the level inside that holds my Shamisen along with a pan flute. My Shamisen was white with a flower decoration along the edges varying in color from red to black. They tell me I can use their stage inside and bring me to it. I sit down and start playing. Once I start playing, I look around to observe others and see they like it and so do the people walking by. I get a good look at the people walking around and sitting. There are some families some couples and... a man with bright red and orange hair! I almost lost my fingering on my instrument when I found him staring back at me. His eyes are weird but very cool, along with his hair and aura. His aura said manly and justice. He also has a sword along with a uniform. He must be a part of the Demon Slayer Corps. As I keep looking around the area, I can feel his eyes trained on me. My eye twitches in annoyance, but I keep my smile.

After I finish, I tell the owner that I am leaving. She says I am a very good musician and to come again while handing me my compensation. I leave only to come face to face with the man that was staring at me.

"Ahh, excuse me, sir. "I try to move around him, but he moves in my way. Is there something you need?

"AH, YES, DO YOU BY CHANCE KNOW WHERE XXX TOWN IS?"

His voice is so loud. "Yes, when you leave the village turn left and walk 2 miles."

He smiles and pats my back whilst thanking me. I head back to the clothes maker to retrieve the kimono. After securing it, I head to the mountains to set up camp and sleep. After finding a cave I took off my box and burned some wisteria incense to keep the demons away.

After the nice sleep, I pack up and start walking to the next village to get a hair ornament.

On the way, I decided to practice some of my breathing techniques.

Breath of Stars First Form: Shooting Stars

I cut the wood by jumping from above and slicing diagonally to the ground.

I practice for a bit then work on my speed and flexibility by jumping through the trees with everything on. As I am walking, I start to play with one of my shurikens, just tossing it up and down. When I reach the village, I find some more work then leave after buying a hairpin. When I set up camp, I started sewing some stars into the haori along with a galaxy. After finishing some of the work, I head to the near waterfall. I had felt a strong presence but along as they don't try to eat me, I don't care for killing. He seems stronger than that demon with the kanji in his eye. Ever since I found out that I have no presence I have always hummed a small tune when there is anyone around me so they will not get scared. I hum a random tune as I get closer to the waterfall. I see him tense up for a little bit but relax quite fast.

As I near the waterfall I walk to the opposite side and say," I hope you don't mind me bathing here."
