TW: Violence

Third Person's POV

Hanbin just arrived at his house a little over midnight. He was really frustrated about what happened with Sana as he really didn't understand why she chose Dahyun of all people.

He looked over some of his prized possessions, and a lot of them were gifts from Sana. Like the couple shirts, and the little banner that says "My boyfriend is the best."

He heaved a tired sigh and went straight to his room.

As it turns out, he really genuinely loved Sana, but due to the ingrained behavior that he was used to back in his school days, he wasted the opportunity of having someone who truly cares for him. And he knew that replacing Minatozaki Sana would not be an easy task.

He's gone through all of the people that he knows, even those that he flirted with and none of them came even remotely close to giving her ex any sort of competition.

But it is what it is, and he would not allow himself to lose to Kim Dahyun.

He worked too hard, played the part of being a good boy to the public. He will not let anyone sabotage what he built for himself. He will never back down, not now, not ever.

As he was about to hit the showers, he heard noises coming from the living room.

He instantly went over his drawer to get his gun, but it's nowhere to be found. He went outside his room and looked for it there. He looked everywhere, on the desk, beneath it, even on the couch.

He clearly remembered putting it in his bedside table drawer, before he went out to go to Sana earlier.

Hanbin's heartbeat increased as his search came up futile.

It was when he dropped to his knees to check under his couch when it happened.

All the lights went out in his house. And he was practically kneeling on the floor in pitch black.

It was as if his sixth sense activated because it feels like he's known that something has gone terribly wrong before he even sees any physical proof.

Struggling to stand up in the dark, he raised his arm and felt his way through the way to his bedroom, shaking in fear.

He was about to shout to his guards when he felt something cold placed against his temple.

"Not a sound."

A low, throaty voice whispered near his ear, making his heart beat rapidly.

The scream that he let out was cut off shortly when he felt the person punch his jaws.

"I said, not one fucking sound."

He was frozen in fear, as he really can't recognize the voice.

"Turn around and walk."

He obeyed slowly, shaking like a leaf in a thunderstorm.

"If you want money, you can take everything, just let me go." He tried to negotiate.

There was no response from the intruder, which made everything feel more sinister. I can still feel the gun against my back as I continue walking slowly.

He heard the gun being cocked, and he stopped breathing, his heart felt like a thunder in his chest like a frightened hummingbird in a cage.

"Looking for this?" The intruder asked. And he saw the glint of his gun on the intruder's hand as his eyes adjusted to the darkness.

Unfortunately, he was still unable to see the person because he was wearing a mask.

He now had no way to defend himself anymore.
