Everyone clapped as Bella and Christopher finished their first dance together. "I now invite Edward and Serena for their first dance to a song Edward wrote for his love called 'A Thousand Years'" said the lead singer and I looked at Edward in surprise as we walked onto the floor. The beautiful instrumental violin and piano began to play the song as Edward pulled me close.
I placed my hand on his shoulder as the other held his hand. Edward wrapped one arm securely around my waist as he held me to him and I smiled as I stared into his eyes. "You wrote this song for me?" I said and he smiled as he nodded. "I've been waiting for what feels like a thousand years to meet you Mrs Cullen. And I would do anything you asked of me if it means I get to spend the next thousand with you" Edward said as he rested his forehead against mine.
"I love you so much Edward" I said as I looked into his yellow eyes. "Not as much as I love you" said Edward before he leaned down, pressing his lips to mine. We pulled away and Edward leaned down to my ear. "All along I believed I would find you; Time has brought your heart to me, I have loved you for a thousand years; I'll love you for a thousand more" Edward whispered into my ear and I smiled as I rested my head on his shoulder.
After the song had finished, more couples joined Edward and I on the floor. The music picked up and I looked at all of our guests dancing their hearts out. Alice and Jasper gained a lot of attention as Jasper flipped Alice over and I giggled. I saw Bella and Christopher disappear and turned to Edward. "They're leaving already?" I said and he shook his head as a small smile came to his face.
"A certain someone has arrived to see Bella" Edward replied. "Jacob?" I questioned and he nodded. "Holy crap! I didn't think he'd come" I said and Edward nodded. "I think Christopher called in a favour" Edward replied and I nodded. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Carlos. "May I have a dance with your bride?" he asked Edward and Edward smiled as he nodded.
Carlos gently took my hand and I laughed as he twirled me before we began to slowly dance. "You looked absolutely stunning up there today Serena" said Carlos and I blushed. "Thank you Carlos. It took a lot of work to repaint this old car" I joked and he laughed. "I haven't seen your mother this happy since the day she found you again" Carlos said as he looked at my mom who was talking to Esme and Carmen.
"You know Carlos, I owe you a huge thank you. You saved my mom not only from her ex but from her depression. For so long she was this complete stranger who barely knew how to smile and ever since you two have been together, I haven't seen that smile disappear. You fixed her broken heart" I said as I looked at him.
"She also saved me. I had no purpose until I met her. And now, she is my everything and more. Your mother is one of a kind" said Carlos and I nodded in agreement. "That she is" I said as I looked over at her once more. "I know I am not your father and I would never overstep my role in your life but I am so proud of you Serena. You've overcome so many challenges in your life with your head held high. You always put others before yourself and always do what is right. That is very admirable and Edward is a very lucky man to have you for the rest of his life" said Carlos and I smiled before embracing him.
After another hour or two, I was whisked away by Alice and Rosalie into the house where I changed out of my wedding dress and into my honeymoon attire which was an off shoulder tool dress with my hair in a bun and my wedding makeup.

"Here is your purse" said Alice as she handed it to me and I smiled. "Thank you for everything Alice" I said as I hugged her. "Anytime" she said before we pulled away. I followed her and Bella out of her room and downstairs through the empty house to the front door where I saw Edward and Christopher waiting.
Edward was wearing a baby blue shirt with a dark blue blazer and khaki coloured pants. Christopher was wearing a white shirt with a pastel blue blazer and black pants. As Edward saw me, he smiled and reached his hand out. I slid my hand into his and leaned up pressing my lips to his. "Shall we?" he asked and I nodded.
Edward pulled the front door open where we saw all of our guests cheering and throwing confetti. I waved at everyone as we made it to our car and I saw my mom waiting. I let go of Edward's hand before walking over to her. She embraced me and we stood like that for a few moments. We pulled away and my mom held my hands in hers.
"I guess this is the last time I'll see you as you" she said as she looked me up and down and I nodded. "I guess so" I replied as I bit my bottom lip. "I'm going to miss you so much. The house won't be the same without you, you know. No more mess in the kitchen, no more puddles of water on the bathroom floor" said my mom and I laughed.
"Come on I wasn't that bad" I joked and she chuckled. "I'm going to miss the human you. Your beautiful eyes, warm skin, beating heart. But you need to begin the next chapter of your journey and that means becoming one of us" said my mom and I nodded. "Do you know where you're going?" she asked and I shook my head.
"I have no idea. Edward hasn't said anything" I said and she laughed. "Well, wherever he is taking you, I hope you have fun, be safe and that you two enjoy your honeymoon" she said as she stroked my cheek. I embraced her once more squeezing her too me. "Thank you for everything mom" I said and she hummed in response. "Always. You'll always have a home with me bebita" said my mom as she rubbed my back.
"Sorry to interrupt. Everything is ready to go" said Alice and I nodded before my mom and I pulled away. "Well, I'll see you in a couple of weeks" said my mom. She kissed my cheek before hugging me once more. We pulled away and I walked over to Carlos. "I'll see you soon kiddo" he said as he hugged me and I giggled before walking over to Bella.
"This is it" I said as I stood in front of her and she nodded. "I know I can't believe it" she said as she ran a hand through her hair. "Well, I guess I'll see you when you come back as the new you" I said and she smiled. I gave her a quick hug before walking back over to my car where Edward was holding the door open. I thanked him before sliding into the passenger seat.
Edward closed my door before walking around to the drivers side and climbing in. He started up the car and everyone cheered and waved as we slowly drove past. "You ready for our honeymoon?" Edward asked. "Absolutely" I said back as I grabbed his hand.
