I rested my head against the window of my moms car as she drove in the front. My sister Charlotte was sat in the front seat singing along with the song on the radio. Suddenly our car veered off the road and I screamed as we headed towards a cliff. "MOM!" I screamed as I gripped my seat. Charlotte screamed as well as she looked back at me. I closed my eyes bracing for impact and when I opened them I realised I was the one in the drivers seat with my mom and sister screaming as we went over the cliff side.
"Ahhh!" I cried as I awoke and hyperventilated as I looked around my room. I looked in the corner where the moon illuminated through my window and saw who I believed to be Edward. I gasped and scrambled to turn on my lamp and as I did, I looked where he was standing and saw he wasn't there. I groaned as I buried my face in my hands letting out a drawn out sigh.
Ever since Charlotte had died, I had this dream of getting in a car accident and ever since my mom disappeared, they've become more frequent. I tuned off my lamp as I laid back down and closed my eyes attempting to get some sleep.
The next day, I was startled awake as my alarm went off. I reached over turning it off and groaned. It took me 2 hours to get back to sleep after my nightmare and hallucination. I climbed out of bed, getting dressed before making my way downstairs to the kitchen where I saw my uncle asleep on the couch. I smiled and grabbed an apple from the fridge before grabbing an old envelope.
Left for school. Hope you have a good day Uncle Waylon. See you after school.

I wrote before making my way out the front to my car. I climbed in and started it up before leaving the driveway and heading to school. I arrived after a few minutes and parked my car before climbing out. I waited by my car as Mr Molina spoke to the bus driver. I looked up to see Edward and two of his siblings, Alice and Jasper walking towards the busses.
Someone walked over to me and I turned to see Eric with a smile on his face. "Hey Serena! Hey are you doing after your accident?" He asked. "Hey Eric. I'm doing good. Still a little shaken but nothing major" I replied with a shrug. "Great. I'm glad you're ok...um so I was wondering if...." I didn't pay attention to Eric as I looked past him at Edward.
Edward was staring intently at Eric and I with a focused looked. "Serena?" Eric asked getting my attention. "Yeah?" I said turning back to him. "Uhh I was asking if you wanted to go to prom with me?" Eric asked, a hopeful smile on his face. "Umm prom? Uhh I-parties aren't really my thing umm and my uncle and I are going on a fishing trip to Lake Pleasant that weekend anyways" I lied.
"O-Oh. umm ok. You can't just go on a different day?" Eric asked looking defeated. "No sorry, it's the only time my uncle is off work" I replied and Eric gave a nod as he looked to the ground. "Umm I know Angela is going and she doesn't have a date yet. Maybe you should ask her" I suggested and Eric nodded his head once more.
"Yo, yo, yo guys come on! We gotta go, we gotta go! Green is what? Good! Let's go, guys come on" said Mr Molina. Eric and I walked towards the bus and I climbed on. I saw an empty seat beside Bella and slid in. "Hey" she said and I gave a warm smile before saying 'Hey' back. We had a conversation on the ride to the green house which we arrived to after an hour.
We all piled off of the buses and headed into the green house. As we walked through looking at everything, I saw the back of Edward ahead as he was stood still. I sighed and tried to walk past him without trying to get his attention. "You like fishing?" said Edward startling me. I looked and saw him walking beside me and scrunched my eyebrows.
"Excuse me?" I said confused. "You like fishing?" Edward replied. "Were you listening to my conversation?" I questioned. "You didn't answer my question" said Edward. "Well you don't answer any of mine and you don't even say hi or hello you just blurt stuff out" I shot back. "Hi" Edward said sarcastically and I rolled my eyes.
"You still not going to tell me how you stopped the van?" I said lowly to him as we walked. "Yeah. I had an adrenaline rush. It's very common. You can google it" said Edward. "You really expect me to believe that a simple adrenaline rush made you stop a 1 tonne van?" I said as I looked at him. "Adrenaline can boost your physical strength. Trust me, my father's a doctor" said Edward.
I shook my head slightly as we continued walking. "No, I don't like fishing. I think its gross and smelly" I said, answering Edward's earlier question. I felt my foot catch on a piece of the rubber mat and fell forwards only for Edward to catch my arm standing me back up effortlessly. "Can you at least watch where you walk?" Edward snapped.
"Hey I didn't know that piece of mat was sticking up! You don't need to snap at me over it!" I snapped back as I glared at him. "Look, I'm sorry I'm being rude all the time I just think it's the best way" said Edward. "Whatever" I said before walking off not putting up with his bipolar moods anymore. After another half an hour everyone headed back to the busses.
"Serena, we shouldn't be friends" said Edward as he suddenly appeared beside me. "If all of that is what you call being friends that I can really see why you're single. Got Edward, if I piss you off that much then you should've let the van crush me, save me and you all of this resentment" I snapped. "What? You think I regret saving you?" asked Edward.
"I can see that you do and I don't understand why?" I said back as I looked up at him. "You don't know anything" Edward said lowly as he looked down at me. "Whatever. You know what, you're right. We really shouldn't be friends because I am dealing with enough right now and I don't need to deal with your bipolar moods that are giving me whiplash. Thank you again for saving me from the van, I hope you have a good life" I said before turning on my heal and walking to the other bus.
