I awoke to the warmth of the sun hitting my face. I fluttered my eyes open before giving a stretch. I sat up and looked around the room. Feathers and small chunks of wood littered the bed. I looked behind me and saw the bed had completely broken up and destroyed. I scoffed before looking around the room to see torn up pillows and a ripped duvet.

I rolled out of bed and threw on one of the white robes hanging up in the bathroom. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the cold tap as I looked at my reflection. I had some bags under my eyes and some left over make up still on my face but I couldn't help the smile that made its way onto my face as I thought about last night.

It couldn't have been anymore perfect. The wedding, the reception, Edward and I...Everything was how I imagined it and more. I leaned down and splashed my face with the cold water before turning off the tap and drying my face off with a hand towel. "How badly are you hurt?" I heard Edward say and turned to see him looking solemn and guild ridden.

"What?" I said confused before he walked over and pulled up my sleeve to reveal the purpling finger marks around my wrist. I scrunched my eyebrows before Edward also pulled down the robe slightly revealing more bruising on my collarbone and shoulder. "Serena, I can't tell you how sorry I am" he said said as he looked at me through the mirror.

"What? You don't have anything to be sorry for. This is nothing I'm not in any pain" I said as I turned and looked at Edward. "Don't lie" said Edward before he walked over to the bed and sat down. "I'm not lying! I didn't even realise those were there until you just pointed them out. Edward, don't beat yourself up over this ok? Bruising is a normal thing it happens during regular human sex ok?" I said as I placed my hands on his shoulders.

"I told you this would happen. I knew I would hurt you somehow" Edward said ignoring me and I rolled my eyes. "Hey! Don't ruin this! Last night was absolutely perfect" I said and he shook his head. "I've already ruined it" said Edward and I huffed. "It's not like my arm is broken or my back shattered. So what I've got bruising. It's not a big deal" I said trying to reassure him.

"I hurt you Serena""You barely hurt me. I'm perfectly fine. At least I was a minute ago" I said. "Good. You should be angry at me" said Edward and I sighed. "Edward, last night was amazing. As far as a human and a vampire sleeping together, I'd say we did pretty good. I mean, I enjoyed it at least" I said as I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"You're worried I didn't enjoy myself?" he said as he looked at me. "I just know you had to be really cautious and hold back but for me, I don't think it can get any better then that" I said as I playing with his hands in mine. "Serena, last night was the best night of my existence" said Edward as he stood up cupping my face in his hands.

I smiled before leaning forward pressing my lips against his. I ran my hands up Edwards chest before he pulled away and gently took my hands off his chest. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion before it dawned on me and I let out a sigh. "You're not going to touch me again are you" I said as I looked up at him. Edward caressed my cheek and I shook my head.

"You know what I mean" I said as I crossed my arms. "Let me make you some break fast" he said before he walked out of the bedroom. I let out a groan before falling back onto the bed and covering my face. This is going to be a long honeymoon.
