"Ok kiddos lets go" I said as I opened the front door. "Bye dad!" Colette and Masen chimed as they ran out the front door to the car. "I'll be back in a couple of hours" I said as I turned to Edward. He nodded and leaned down pressing his lips to mine before we pulled away. I walked to the car and climbed in after buckling Colette and Masen in.

"Who's excited to build snowmen?" I said as I drove, looking at Colette and Masen in the rear view mirror. "Me!" They exclaimed causing me to chuckle. After a few minutes of driving we arrived at Leah's mom, Sue's house. I turned off the car before walking to the back. As I unbuckled Colette and Masen, the front door open.

Jacob and Leah jogged out of the house over to us. Masen and Colette ran forward into their arms. Leah and Jacob effortlessly swooped them up and I smiled. "Ok mi amores, mommy is going. I'll be back soon" I said as I walked over and kissed Masen and Colette on the cheek. "Thanks for this guys" I said as I looked at Leah and Jacob.

"Anytime" Leah replied with a small smile. I walked back over to my car and climbed in before pulling out of the driveway and heading off to Seattle.

My heels clicked on the floor as I walked to the entrance of the restaurant. I approached the concierge at the front as I pushed some of my hair from my face. "Umm I'm meeting Mr Jenks" I said and the concierge nodded before leading me through the restaurant. We walked to a part of the restaurant that had velvet ropes blocking it off.

At the table I saw an African American man sitting at the table in a suit with glasses. The table was surrounded with curtains making it more private. As I approached, he looked up before rising from his seat. "Mrs Cullen, I'm so happy you called" J said as he shook my hand. He motioned to the chair across from him and pulled it out before I sat down and he pushed me in.

I placed my purse on the floor before turning to Mr Jenks. "I always meet my private clients here. It's more comfortable then the office" J said. "Quite public though" I replied and he chuckled. "I hope you don't mind me enquiring but what kind of work do you do Mr Jenks?" I questioned as I looked at him. "Oh you know, this and that. It's always different, which keeps it interesting" He replied and I gave nod.

"Have you known Alice and Jasper long?" I asked. "I've been working with them for than twenty years. And my late partner knew Jasper fifteen years before that. He is uh unusually well preserved" J said as he looked at me. "Yes he is. His father is a doctor so I'm sure he's had some medical benefits in preserving his looks" I replied.

"I trust that Mr Jasper is enjoying his vacation?" J questioned. "I believe so. My family and I haven't had much contact with him since he and Alice left. He didn't happen to tell you where he was going did he?" I asked, a slight hint of hope growing in my chest. "No, no, no he uh just mentioned he was leaving when he came by to place his order" Mr Jenks replied.

"I assume that his order is ready?" I asked. "Of course. I've never been late with a delivery" J replied before sliding two envelopes across the table. I looked around before opening it revealing four fake passports and four fake birth certificates. I opened the passports and saw images of Colette, Masen, Jacob and Leah. Confusion filled me as I looked into the envelopes only to see them empty with nothing else inside.

Edward and I won't be with Colette and Masen? I thought to myself. "There a problem?" Mr Jenks asked after noticing my reaction. "No. My husband and I just thought we'd all be travelling together" I said. "Jasper said only four were travelling. His instructions were very clear" Mr Jenks replied.

"I understand. Just miscommunication" I said as I put everything back in the envelopes. After my meeting with Mr Jenks I headed back to La Push. As I was driving I pulled off to the side of the road and let out a scream as I gripped the steering wheel. I covered my face as I continued to scream out of pain and frustration.

"WHY?!" I screamed as my hands moved to my hair. Despite everything I have gone through with James, Victoria, Edward leave, this was by far the most painful, terrifying and frustrating thing I have ever dealt with. After a few more minutes I composed myself and continued to drive. After picking up Colette and Masen, I headed back to Forks.

I pulled into the driveway of the Cullen's house and opened the front door before Masen and Colette ran inside. I followed them upstairs and watched as Masen ran over to Garett who high fived him and Colette as she ran into Edward's arms. He scooped her up and spun her around before I watched her touch his cheek. Edward's eyes clouded over for a moment before he chuckled.

With Masen, Colette, and Edward distracted, I took the opportunity to duck to the study. I opened the closet and grabbed out two backpacks that were at the top. I walked over to the other closet and moved things aside before finding the basket of money. I walked over to the desk and rummaged through it before finding a notepad and pen.

I pulled the envelopes from my purse before placing Jacob and Colette's birth certificates and passports in one bag, and placed Leah and Masen's in the other. After dividing the money evenly and placing it in the bags, I grabbed the notepad and began to write.

My darlings Masen & Colette,
From the day you two were born, I swore that nothing would ever keep me apart from the both of you. That we would always be together. But due to recent events that have occurred over these last few weeks, sending the two of you away with Leah and Jacob was the only choice I had left. As a mother, it is my job to do everything in my power to ensure you both remain safe and protected. With the escalation of things, it is no longer safe for you two to stay with your father and I. Please know that sending you guys way was the last thing your father and I ever wanted to do and it is the hardest decision we have ever had to make. You two are our entire world; our everything.

I know you two may be confused, angry or scared but I know that one day you will understand why we did what we did in sending you away. I know and trust that Leah and Jacob will protect you just like your father and I would and keep you safe from any form of harm. Masen, Colette, having the both of you was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. From the moment you left, you are all that has been on my mind. I promise that I will fight with every being in my body to be with you both again. Though you two may fight and get annoyed with one another, you two are going to need each other now more then ever. You are all the other has so promise me you will stay strong and be kind to one another always.

One day, maybe not tomorrow, or next week or in two months time but one day, I promise we will be reunited and be a family once more. And when that day comes, I promise I will never ever let you go again. No words will ever be able to express how much I love you. You mean the world and more to me Masen and Colette. Never ever forget that. I love you both so so much and I am going to miss you so much.

Love,
Mom.

I folded the letter and placed it in an envelope before placing it in one of the bags. I zipped up both bags and placed them in the closet under some blankets before exiting the study.
