Chapter 80

"Alice!" Said Aro as she and Jasper got closer and closer. As they past us, Alice looked at everyone, a sad look on her face as she did. Upon their approach to Aro, Alice and Jasper were stopped by a group of guards who restrained them. "What are they doing?" I said quietly as I looked to Edward. "Alice must have had a vision" he replied and I nodded as I turned my attention back to them.

"My dear, dear Alice, we're so glad to see you here after all" said Aro as he looked at her. "I have evidence the children won't be a risk to our kind! Let me show you" said Alice of the guards that were holding her back, her hand outstretched to Aro. Aro gave a nod as he motioned to her and the guards let Alice go.

As she walked over to them, I watched as Dimitri slapped Jasper across the face in an act of pettiness causing Jasper to growl as the guards restrained him. Aro eagerly took Alice's hand into his and I watched as his eyes clouded when Alice suddenly pulled her hand away.
"It doesn't matter what I show you! Even when you see, you still won't change your decision!" She snapped before she turned to us.

Now! She mouthed to and I turned to Colette and Masen who looked at me in fear. "I love you" I said quietly to Masen and Colette as I grabbed their hands. "Take care of them" I whispered to Leah and Jacob who gave a grunt before they turned and sprinted to the woods. I grabbed onto Edward's hand as I watched them disappear before turning my attention to Aro.

Alice suddenly turned and kicked Aro sending into the air, the Volturi guard watching in shock before he landed on the snow feet away. As Alice turned to run, two guards grabbed her instantly restraining her as she fought against them. As the Volturi stepped forward, we did so, anxiety rising in the air. Is he going to kill her?! I thought to myself as I squeezed Edward's hand.

"Take her away" said Aro and the guards began dragging Alice away. Jasper growled as he tried to fight free from the guards holding him back from saving Alice. "LET HER GO!" Carlisle exclaimed before running forward. Two Volturi members ran forward in an attempt to stop him but Carlisle effortlessly threw them off as he charged forward before he leapt into the air.

Aro jumped up and the two met in the middle before the both landed. I watched as Carlisle's body fell limp to the ground and my eyes widened in horror as I saw his head in Aro's hand. "NOOOOO!" Esme screamed everyone stared in shock and horror as to what had just happened. As Caius lit Carlisle's corpse on fire, growls erupted from Edward's chest as he charged forwards and I immediately followed in toe as we all ran forwards.

I watched as Aro raised his hands and the Volturi guard immediately ran forward. As we charged on, the wolves appeared in my peripheral vision as they ran in between us. As the Volturi neared, Edward leapt into the air and I leapt forward tackling a male Volturi member to the ground. He threw me off before I turned and shot a small orb of energy at him, knocking him to the ground as he yelled out in pain.

I ripped his head off before throwing it aside when someone leapt onto my back, their hands on my head. I threw myself back and slammed them onto the ground causing them to groan before rolling off seeing it was a girl. She immediately stood up and swung at me. As she did so, I grabbed her arm and ripped it off causing her to scream out.

She turned and kicked me in the chest sending me backwards. I stood up as quickly as I landed and turned to face her. I punched her in the face knocking her to the ground before I ripped off her head. As I turned, I saw a group of the Volturi members attacking on of the wolves who I recognised to be Embry. I growled as I ran over and shot two orbs out of my hand knocking two of them off of him.

I tackled the man off of him and immediately ripped his head off. I felt the other man wrap his arms around me from behind and I grunted as I threw him forward into Embry's open jaws. Embry clamped the mans head in his mouth and shook his body like a rag doll before it disconnected from his head. Embry gave me a nod which I returned before I turned to see another girl charging towards me.
