I arrived at Bella's house and turned off my car. I saw her walking over to her truck as I approached her. "Bella!" I called before I jogged over. "Hey Serena" she said as she looked at me. "I wanted to speak to you about the whole wolf thing, try and wrap my head around the whole thing" I said and she averted her eyes. "Is there any chance we could do it another time?" she said.
"Uh yeah sure. Is everything alright?" I questioned as I looked at her suspiciously. "Y-Yeah everything's fine. I'm just going to La Push. Jake told me the cliffs can help clear your mind" said Bella and I scrunched my eyebrows. "You're not going to do anything stupid are you?" I asked and Bella blinked a couple times before shaking her head. "No" she replied.
"Ok" I said before giving her a quick hug. "Drive safe and text me when you get home. That way I'll know you're alive" I said before walking back to my car. I watched in my rear view mirror as Bella climbed into her truck, pulled out of her driveway, and drove off. I turned on my own car and began heading home when I couldn't shake the feeling in my stomach that Bella was going to do something reckless.
Ever since she told me about her visions of Christopher when she does something dangerous, it makes me nervous that she goes out of her way to to crazy stuff just to see him. I was worried she was going to wind up getting herself killed. I groaned before doing an illegal U-turn and heading the other way.
Alice's P.O.V
I hummed to myself as I rearranged my closet in colour order when I suddenly fell into a vision.
It was Serena. She was driving fast somewhere when she let out a scream and her car skidded before everything went black, a crash sound coming from the blackness. Suddenly Bella appeared before she jumped off the side of a cliff. It flashed to her body sinking lower and lower into the ocean before everything went black.
I gasped as I came out of my vision and felt the panic build in my chest as I dropped the clothing in my hand. "Alice what did you see?" said Jasper as he appeared in front of me. "It's Serena and Bella. They're in danger!" I replied before disappearing out of the room and downstairs to Carlisle's office. I immediately opened the door where I saw Carlisle typing away on his computer.
"Carlisle, I need to borrow your car" I said as he turned to me. "Is everything alright?" He asked as he handed me to keys. "I don't have time to explain. I need to go" I said before speeding out the front to his car. I immediately climbed in and sped out of the driveway before speeding off to Forks.
Serena's P.O.V
I continued driving down the road, my heart racing. I'm not trying to be controlling or possessive of Bella, but ever since that motorbike incident a few weeks ago after the movie with Jess, I've been super scared she was going to do something stupid trying to see Christopher and wind up getting herself killed.
As I rounded the road a massive thud came to the side of my car causing me to scream as my car skidded. I looked up and saw the animal disappear into the woods once more, but I managed to catch a glimpse at its rustic fur. It seemed as if it were chasing something. I shook off my fear before speeding off to La Push Beach.
I arrived and saw Bella's orange truck. I parked beside her car and immediately climbed out before sprinting to the woods leading to the cliffs. I ran up as fast as I could feeling my lungs tighten as I struggled to breathe. "Bella!" I called as I continued running. I felt relief as I neared the top and broke through the edge of the trees where I saw a flicker of dark brown hair disappear over the cliffs edge.
"NOOO!" I screamed as I ran over and looked down to see Bella hit the water. She surfaced a few moments. "BELLA! ARE YOU OK?!" I called down and she looked up before nodding. I dropped to my knees as I let out a sigh of relief before looking down once more to see a massive wave topple over Bella. I felt the panic set in again as I waited for her to resurface but she didn't.
"BELLA!" I screamed before removing my jacket and immediately jumped over the cliff side. I plugged my nose as I hit the water before opening my eyes under the water looking around frantically for Bella. I looked down and saw her unconsciously beginning to sink deeper. I swam down to her and grabbed her arm before tugging her to the surface.
I coughed as I broke the waters surface and tried my best to hold Bella's unconscious body above the water. "Bella wake up!" I exclaimed as I tapped her face. Someone crashed into the water a few feet away and I turned to see Jacob swimming over, relief filling me. "Pass her here!" said Jacob before he took Bella from me. I followed behind him as we swam to the shore.
My legs buckled underneath me from exhaustion as I fell beside Jacob and Bella. "Come on! Breathe! Breathe!" Jacob said before pressing on her chest. "Bella wake up!" I cried as Jacob continued doing CPR. Bella's eyes opened as some water fell from her mouth. "Bella, Bella, can you hear me?" Jacob said as Bella looked around.
"Jesus Christ!" I said as I placed my hand on my chest, letting out a huge sigh of relief. "Jake?" Bella said slightly dazed. "Come here" Jake said as he sat her up. "What the hell were you thinking?" Jacob said as he looked at Bella. "Bella you stupid idiot! Why on earth would you throw yourself over a freaking cliff?!" I snapped.
"I just wanted to see something" Bella answered and I smacked my hand to my forehead in frustration. "GET THEM HOME! I'M GOING TO HELP OUT OVER AT HARRY'S PLACE!" We heard a voice holler and turned to see Sam standing at the other end of the beach. "What happened at Harry's?" asked Bella as she looked up at Jake.
"Harry Clearwater had a heart attack. Charlie and my dad are over at his place with his family" Jake replied. "Is he ok?" Bella asked, concern lacing her face. "He's gone" Jake said solemnly. "Come on. I'll get you something dry and drive you both home to Forks" Jake said as he helped Bella stand.
