Chapter 23- Wedding Ceremony

Alya POV

It's not that long when my father told me that I will marry someone, now, I am standing in front of the mirror wearing a beautiful white gown.

Yes, I'm going to marry right now! I don't know how the heck did they managed to plan this wedding without me? I'm sure, I'm sick that time pero tama ba yun? Yung magpaplano nalang sila tapos ako yung bibiglain. 

Kahapon lang medyo sumaya pa ako ng magkasama kami ni Zaria tapos pag-uwi ko biglaan nilang sinabi sa akin yun! Oo, agad nila akong pinapili ng gowns or such and I have no choice! On the spot e!

Kakaalis palang ng sakit sa katawan ko pero feeling ko magkakasakit  naman ako! Ano ba 'tong pinasok ko?!

"Lady Alya?" I looked at the door's direction when someone spoke, oh it's one of the maids I have. "Need some help?"

"Yeah," sabi ko kaya pumasok na siya.

"What can I help?"

"Help me escape this wedding," I pouted.

She laughed, wow, looking beautiful. "There's no way you can escape, Lady Alya. Just accept the fact that you're going to marry, I know your father has a reason why did he had you arranged marriage with Sir Chase."

Ano kayang alam niya? Hmm, she has been my maid for a long time, I guess since birth ko. She's on her 40's but still single, wala na atang balak mag asawa e.

"What is this reason? I don't understand my father so much, argh!" napapadyak pa ako sa inis.

"Someday, you'll know. Let me fix your hair," sabi niya at may inayos sa buhok ko. "There. Smile, Lady Alya. You look beautiful in it."

"Thanks."

"Welcome. Now, let's go. They're all in the church, the bride is the only one who's not around."

[At Church]

My mouth dropped when I saw how many guests is around! I thought this is a private wedding, bakit halos limang daan ata ang tao dito? Private pa ba 'to?

Tapos paparazzi's are all over the corners of the church, heck, what kind of private wedding is this? I should've invited my friends kung hindi naman pala private!

Nandito pa din ako sa loob ng bridal car, hindi pa ako lumalabas. My maid, the one who's with me took charge of the grand entrance kaya wala na siya dito.

"Lady Alya, be ready. The ceremony is about to start," the wedding organizer said, umirap naman ako. Naiinis ako!

I closed my eyes for a second before opening it again until I decided to get off the car and I did. Inalalayan naman ako ng maid ko na maglakad papunta sa entrance, inabot din sa akin ang bulaklak.

"Smile," paalala sa akin ng maid pero tumango lang ako, I don't know if I can do that.

The cameras are already flashing around me! Mabuti sana kung hindi ako panget sa mga kuha nila, hmp! Alya, that's out of your concern, okay?

This is it. Wala ng takbuhan 'to not unless may pumunta sa akin dito at itakbo ako aba sasama ako kung ganon. Makawala lang ako sa wedding na 'to, masaya na ako. Masaya nga ba?

I forced a smile and faced the church door. I waited for seconds before the door finally opened, as I look inside lots of people are now smiling at me. My confidence are slowly fading away and I can't take this anymore.

But for the sake of my father, for his reputation, for his image, for his business and for everything... I have to. I need to.

I clung to my father's arm and he guided me while walking in the aisle.
