Suzi POV

It's Sunday. Puyat ako kagabi pero ang aga kong nagising, ganito naman ako palagi e. Kahit gaano ako kapuyat, maaga talaga akong nagigising.

Nakaratay lang ako dito sa napakalambot kong kama habang nakikipag staring contest sa ceiling na may napakarangyang chandelier. Gustuhin ko mang lumabas ngayon at magmuni muni sa baba, hindi ko kakayanin lalo na't rinig na rinig ko ang boses ng stepmom at daddy ko.

I can't face dad. Baka ano na naman masabi ko lalo na yung nanay ni Jake na bruha. Kairita! Since noong nag away kami hindi na ako nakikisama sa kanila, para ano pa? Maririnig ko lang yung mga masasamang salita niya sa namatay kong nanay.

*phone ringing*

Kinapa ko naman ang phone ko na nakalagay sa side table bago tiningnan kung sino ang tumawag and no other than Monica.

I answered the call. "Hello?"

"Girl! Uso mag online!"

My brows furrowed. "Baka sa inyo, oo pero sa akin hindi."

"Argh! Just checked the latest post in the University's page and you'll see unexpected news!"

"What—"

"Bye!" then she hang up.

Nakasimangot ko naman na nilapag ang cellphone ko sa side table at parang lutang na tumayo bago lumapit sa laptop ko.

I opened my facebook account, bungad kaagad ang pictures ni Zaria and Ethan syempre sila yung face of the night e. Pumunta naman ako sa page and I scroll down to the University's Page. I scrolled and scrolled but I stopped when I saw something...

Sky University updates their status.

Ayesha and Drake saw dating in one of the most romantic restaurant in the Philippines.

What is this? This sucks. Anong gusto nilang ipatama? And who the heck are they to post something without the Teachers and SSG President's permission?!

And I realized... Baka nga siya pa ang nagpost e. Sino ba naman ako diba? I'm just his fake girlfriend then Ayesha is her ex, and they loved each other while I'm just fake. All are fake. Hindi ako naniniwala sa sinabi ni Drake na hindi niya minahal si Ayesha at attraction lang nararamdaman niya kase kung attraction lang bakit niya jinowa?!

I'm thinking twice if I'm gonna read some of the comments, it's around 2k. I know they're making fuss about it again. My hand just automatically moved and press the comment section.

Naninikip na ang dibdib ko. Hindi ko alam pero gusto kong maiyak, ang sakit kase. Hindi ko din mawari kung bakit ako nasasaktan, ayos lang naman dapat yan diba? Lalo na't hindi naman kami e. May karapatan lang akong magalit kapag totoong kami talaga.

I know this isn't true! Baka naman may pinag-usapan lang. Duh, kung magdadate lang din naman sila bakit umaga pa? Besides, ramdam ko na totoo yung relasyon nila. So yes to Mister President X Miss Secretary parin ako!

I'm glad, Cora is on my side. Yes, I shouted several times to her but still, she's real friend.

Cora Reyes so, pake namin sayo? Suzi is far from Drake's type. She's nothing but a trash. Do you think a guy like Drake will love a trash? Duh, hindi. Drake is just using her and since she's a flirt, nagpagamit nalang din. Poor, Suzi.

I closed my fist because anger is rising in my system. The nerve of this girl! Kapag ito nakita ko bukas, titirisin ko 'to.  Bweset! Below the belt na siya, at ako malandi? Ano pa siya! Baka kalahi nga niya stepmom ko, jusko. 

Magtatype na sana ako ng comment also biglang nagrefresh at lumabas ang comment ni Drake na akala mo LSM sa sobrang haba.

Who the heck is the admin of this page to post something that aren't connected to the school? And to describe this post, this is nonsense. All of the students that commented dirty and nasty comments will be punished. You'll be cleaning the school's comfort room in all of the buildings for 2 weeks. And for the one who posted this post, better hide because I will know whoever you are and by the way, detention or expulsion is waving at you. And for Suzi, I'm sorry for this. Please, respect her just like how you respect me. Wherever I am now is nothing without her. I love her and don't you dare try to hurt her because I will ruin you whole life. I'm serious. I'm speechless. Hindi ko alam pero ramdam ko ang paglakas ng tibok ng puso ko, naghaharumintado ito. Parang tumakbo ako sa walang katapusang daan.At hindi ko na alam kung bakit siya lang ang bukod tanging nagpaparamdam nito sa akin. Is it possible that I'm starting to fall from something where no one can catch me?

My thoughts faded when phone rings.

Bakulaw is calling...

I took a deep breath before answering the call. I don't know why can't I ignore his messages and calls, unti unti na akong nasasanay and I'm starting to get scared because I know someday, I'll just woke up without his calls and messages because this won't be forever, this will last. Fake nga e.

"Suzi?"

"Yes? Why did you call?"

"Are you okay?"

I gulped. "Of course, why wouldn't I?"

I heard him sighed. "Have you seen the post? Or... The comments?"

"What...What post?" kunyaring tanong ko.

"The dating something."

"Yeah!"

"How about the comments?"

"I... " tumigil muna ako sandali. "I didn't!"

Ayokong sabihin sa kaniya na nabasa ko baka kase magtanong siya kung anong masasabi ko hanggang back up questions pa hanggang sa sabihin nalang niya na ginawa lang niya yun for show and I bet, hindi ko na kakayanin niyo. Masyadong masakit.

"Uh..." ramdam ko ang paghihinayang sa boses niya o baka para sa akin lang yun. "Mas mabuti na yun so you won't be hurt by their words."

"That's what I'm avoiding too," you're such a liar, Suzi. Okay lang, white lies lang naman. What I'm avoiding is the pain not the hurtful words of them.

"Sorry for putting you in this kind of situation."

"Ikaw naman kase! Makikipagdate nalang sa public pa tapos umaga pa!" sabi ko at tumawa ng peke.

"Hindi—"

"Ate! Pakibukas ng pinto!" rinig kong sigaw ni Jake kaya naparolled eyes ako.

"Bye muna, Drake. See you," sabi ko at hindi ko na hinintay ang sagot niya at pinatay nalang ang tawag.

Huminga muna ako ng malalim. Nagdate nga ba talaga sila? Ayokong malaman. Tumayo nalang ako pinagbuksan ng pinto si Jake.

"Oh?" inis kong tanong kaya ngumuso siya.
"Ano ba 'yang mukha mo, ate! Palagi nalang ganiyan, ngumiti ka naman kapag kaharap ako minsan!"

I smiled sarcastically. "Anong gusto mo?"

"Ngingiti na nga lang, sarcastic pa," he murmured. "Anyway, labas tayo ate. Wala na dito sila mommy at daddy, gusto mo mag ice cream? Pampalamig sa mainit mong ulo!"
