Chapter Twenty Three: Berserk

CHAPTER TWENTY THREE 

BERSERK 

I don't have any choice but to ask Violet for Heidee's number. She wasn't online but she has personal phone number so I tried to contact her. I asked for her help. She's the only one I know that could help me even though we're not close. She knows Casper. She knows everything...maybe she could help me.

I know people doesn't like to help me when I needed them, they have so many excuses, but I just desperately hope that Heidee would come. It's not the help was for me. It's for Casper though.

"Casper..." I tried to call him. Gone the flame-like rope around his neck, but Casper just wouldn't wake up.

I touched his neck. I suddenly remembered the time that we just met. I saw his glow, at the same time, the small flaming scar that surrounds on his neck.

"What are you up to..." I whispered.

Moments later, I was just staring at him but then his head turned from one side to another. His brows furrowed as if he's having a dream. He groaned.

"Don't..." he breathes. "Please...Shiro..."

"Casper." I called. I don't know if he's having a dream but I guess he do. I was too scared to ask about Casper. I was to hesitant and sensitive of him. I don't want to ask about his life but I guess I should have ask a little bit so at times like this, I am prepared enough to do something... but well...he doesn't want to.

"Gajima..." a lone tear fell from his eyes. "Jebal... dasineun..."

"Casper..." I held his hand and his face to wake him up. I tried to calm down myself. I'm becoming more worried than ever. "Casper...wake up."

After a while, he calmed down. His hand moved against mine so I looked down on it. He's holding it back. He's not yet awake but maybe he's having a bad dream that even in real time, he's holding onto someone desperately.

"Please..." His hold tightened.

"I'm here, Casper..." I whispered back.

SUPRISINGLY, Heidee came. She's still wearing the same clothes that I saw earlier, except her jacket. Nakapamulsa siya nang batiin niya ako.

"Hi." She smiled.

I didn't smile back but I opened the door wider for her to come in. She shook her head because of what I did. She put down her bag on the sofa while looking around. "You asked me to come."

I nodded my head and sighed. "You know everything, you said."

She bit her lips. "Ahh, this mouth is sinful sometimes..." she said like she's saying it to herself.

"I..." I hesistated. Here I am, hoped for Heidee to come at this urgent, but when she came, I'm hesitating if she would help me. I asked for help so many times. I even begged...but none of them helped me. How much more of Heidee that wasn't even close to me. We won't even exchange a talk if not because she saw Casper and I.

"What?"

"Casper needs help..." I said. Maybe she'll help me because it wasn't for me this time.

She chuckled. "Where is he? What happened?"

"I forced him to tell me...then he disappeared all of sudden..." I guide her the way to the guestroom upstairs. She followed me, but then when I looked back at her, she's opening a wrapper of another lollipop.
