Chapter Twenty One: Unfair

CHAPTER TWENTY ONE: 

UNFAIR 

"Here..." Casper handed me my water bottle. He made me sit on my bed, and when I looked at the clock, it's already 5:30 in the morning. My hands are still shaking so Casper insisted to help me drink from my bottle. He wiped my mouth afterwards.

"Thanks..." I sniffed.

"Lay down." He told me. I nodded my head. My head's still spinning a bit and I still feel weak. I need to calm down myself first. I might pass out.

"Sleep a bit. You need to calm down." He suggested.

"I just need an hour or so." I answered. It happens to me a lot of times. It wasn't new so I already know what to do at times like this. It's just strange that I have someone with me now. I'm not used to it. But then, I myself wanted to get used to it but my instincts told me not to.

He nodded. "Okay."

Casper sat on my bed as well. He was staring at me with his worried look. His face looks calm and upbeat like the usual but his expressive eyes tell the otherwise. His head moved sideways while staring at me.

He sighed. "You good?"

I raised my eyebrow. "Shouldn't I?"

"Should you?" he asked back.

I scoffed and closed my eyes. Casper's trying to wake up my senses again but it's long gone.

"Today's the day." He spoke so suddenly. I opened my eyes just to see the grin on his face like something playful crossed his mind. I suddenly remembered what I saw earlier. It explains his attitude very well. He's kind and happy-go-lucky guy, most of all, extravagant.

A spoiled...philanderer heir.

"What?" I asked him.

"Today is Nemesis and Casper's day." He repeated.

"And then?" I raised my eye brows.

"You said you have your own condo. Can we go there and spend the—"

"Casper, you are aware that I need to study." I told him. I might not say to him but it's surely obvious that I treasure my grades so much. I just don't care about my health or anything else. My studies comes first.

"Alam ko." Pilosopong sagot niya. He crossed his arms and squinted his eyes before leaning closer to me. I couldn't move back since nakahiga ako at wala na akong aatrasan. Kulang na lang ay nakapa-ibabaw na siya sa akin. "But well, just because. I want to go to your unit."

"No." Tanggi ko.

He smiled. "Really?" he leaned close to me.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I asked. I was almost stammering.

His lips slowly rose up. His intense eyes focused on mine. "Convincing you..." he whispered.

"Move."

"Shiro." He shook his head. "Not before you agreed."

"I said move!" I shouted and pushed him hard so he would go. He lost his balance and fell from my bed because of his delicate position a while ago. I touched my chest when I felt the strange beat of my heart.

"Fuck!" I heard his hissed.

Mabilis akong napabangon. I looked at him, and he really fell on the floor. He was wincing like he's in pain, touching his back.
