I'm Older Than I Look

It was pitch black outside now.

Bert knew a place

Where people sold stuff like this.

It wasn't the place I knew.

It was deep in an alley, at the very end.

There was a door

Bert said a password,

And with that it opened.

"This is Vic an Kellin."

He told me.

"I get all my goods from them."

The inside was surprisingly homey and comfy, compared to the exterior.

Though it was extremely tight and claustrophobic.

I was escorted to a couch against the wall.

And there was barely any space for the door to open,

Since there was a pink coffee table in the way.

Kellin was all smiles,

While Vic sat at a desk.

They knew Bert, which was obvious,

But I was foreign.

"Who is this?" Vic asked, pointing a finger at me.

"It's Gerard, he's my best friend."

Wow,

Best friend?

"He looks really sweet." Kellin looked at me, "you don't look like the type of person who would go to a place like this."

I smirked,

"I'll have you know that I'm utterly fucked up."

Kellin gazed at me

As if we're six years old, and I disobeyed him,

"Ooo, language."

"How old are you??" Vic asked me.

"I'm twenty-seven, why?"

All three men gave me a look of shock.

Literally

Jaws dropped.

"...What?"

Kellin and Vic exchanged looks, then Kellin cleared his throat,

"Did you find the fucking Fountain of Youth?!?! Holy fucking shit, I could have sworn you were sixteen or some shit. Eighteen at my highest."

It made me giggle a bit, "I get that a lot."

"He even laughs like one."

Vic whispered to Bert.

He did a terrible job at it though,

Since I cold hear.

But

I remember when I told Frank how old I was.

He thought I wasn't legal for him.

He's three years younger than me.

He's also shorter than me,

So that made more things awkward.

But he still loved me.

And it makes me happy to think of.

"Anything else we don't know about you???" Vic questioned.

"Well," I shrugged my shoulders, "I'm also gay."

I could have sworn, in that split second, that I saw Bert's face tinted pink.

"Got a boyfriend?"

"Yes," I smiled, "his name is Frank, and I love him."

I shot a look at Bert, who's eyes were dilated

and his face went pale right after being pink.

He mumbled something to both men,

And they left the area, moving behind a lavender curtain,

Whose only sole purpose was to serve as a wall.
