I cannot believe

I never did something

Like this before.

It was entirely new.

A concept I never thought of doing.

Instead of vague

Shades,

I decided that today

I would paint this blank page

In color.

No greys.

Just exuberance.

It took just the stroke of a brush to paint

A perfect pearl body,

Gorgeous eyes,

And beautiful hair.

The body looked wonderful with all of it there.

This wasn't comics anymore,

This was realism.

Then I drew patterns.

They were made to stand out

And leave you in awe.

Once I started,

I couldn't stop.

The patterns had to be

The main focus of the while piece

They were my favorite thing.

It's what I turned it into.

The glamour motivated me

And pursued me to keep drawing.

I painted shining jewelry,

And glazed, kissable lips.

I stood,

Hypnotized for a second.

Even I wanted to touch them.

All the colors

In the picture altogether

Complimented each other

As if smothering one another

With love.

It wasn't hollow

Like my other artistry.

It said something.

It possessed beauty.

That's when I realized,

For the first time,

In a lifetime,

I had created

My masterpiece.
