I hung out with Bert

Until the nausea went away.

I walked home

After that.

Miraculously,

I remembered to take all my pills

And flip the bottle upside down.

Haha, Frankie,

I beat you.

I told him that when he called, too.

"Really?" He was astonished, "I'm glad to hear that!"

"Good." I would smile,
"How was your concert?"

"It was fantastic!"

Wow

Frank was enthusiastic.

He hasn't been this happy in a long time.

"I played my solo perfectly! It was insane! I got to meet so many fans too! It was perfect!"

"Im glad to hear that."
I giggle.

"But..." he grew quiet.

"But..."

Why was he being quiet?
"Frank?
Frankie???
What's wrong???"

"...It doesn't feel right to not have you here. I really miss you."

"Fuck, it's only your first show though."

"I know, but a part of me feels missing without you here.
Are you okay?"

"I have a really bad headacache but I'm okay."

Stupid alcohol.

"Just take a Motrin, or Tylenol, or Advil, or whatever medicine we have to make that ache go away. I don't want you hurting, please."

He's so damn overprotective.

"Frankie, I'm fine, don't worry. It's just a headache. I was actually planning on going to bed after this-"

"Just go to bed. Maybe Sleeping it off will make it subside.
Goodnight, Gerard. I love you."

"Love you too."

After that,

I put my phone away,

Went to bed.

I wondered where Bert was, however.

Is he at home?
Is he still drinking?
Why did he want to be around me?

I slowly shut my eyes.

I remember being told that if you think of someone before you sleep,

You may see them in your dreams.
