.Zaina.

Hoseok left a while ago, and he confirmed that the number texting me was in fact Jimin. Which is a relief.

But it was around 2pm now. So at this point I was just exploring because I was bored. This place is a lot bigger from the inside, there's a whole library in here. But one thing I noticed is that there's a ton of plants, like everywhere. I've always wanted to grow plants, but they never seem to make it past the sprouting stage. Maybe he can give me some tips on how to actually grow something.

I somehow made it back to the kitchen without retracing my steps. But I decided to look into the backyard now.

"Boo!" There was a sudden noise next to me, making me almost shit myself.

"Ah! What the fuck?!" I flinched hard as hell, only to see Jungkook cracking the fuck up. "That was fucked up and you know it." I walked away from him.

"Noonaa!" He giggled after me, soon hugging my shoulders from behind. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

"But you're still laughing." I chuckled and tried to pull his arms away. I walked into a sitting room area with just couches and chairs.

"Really, I'm sorry. I just want to... check on... you." He turned me around to hug me instead. "I've been worried all~ night." While his English was extremely accented and a little broken, he could still speak it very well.

"Thanks, Jungkook. I'm okay, I promise." I pat his back softly.

"Okay okay. I got chicken for eat." He scrambled away to point to a bag on the table.

"I'm good, I just ate like an hour ago." I followed him there.

"It's okay. I'll leave it here." He nodded and jogged to put the food in the fridge.

"Jungkook?" I looked towards him as I sat on the couch. His eyebrows raised and he hummed after returning from the kitchen. "Can I ask you something..?" I nervously looked away.

"Yes."

"Did you find out... who those girls were? At the hotel?" My voice was softer, anxiety bubbling just thinking about it. He seemed be feeling a little nervous as well, since his eyes were just wide with shock.

"Ahhh... w-well..." He giggled nervously and fluffed his hair around. "They were just... ya know... just girls." He shrugged and bit his lip nervously.

"I could hear them saying your name. And Namjoon. And the one of them spoke in English. And she said something like 'Jungkookie oppa will never be yours'." I looked up at him. "Do you have a crazy ex or something?" I pursed my lips with furrowed brows, just hoping to find out what happened.

"No, I don't know them." He quickly denied with hand motions. "Um... sta- stalker... uh girls."

"Oh... I'm sure you've been bothered by them a lot then, if they came after me. Sorry to hear that." I nodded, he just smiled.

"It's okay. I just want you okay. Namjoon does. His face... was scared. On the phone. Hyung don't show feeling." He let out a giggle and held my hand. "He likes you. I think."

"D-Don't say that type of stuff, Jungkook." I shyly took my hand back. "It's not good to spread rumors. Namjoon would be mad if he heard you say that."

"Don't tell him, please." He begged with a big goofy smile.

"I won't, promise." I nodded. "Namjoon knows not to worry about me. The rest of you should focus on yourselves too. You have lives, I don't want to be the main thing on your mind." I leaned on my hand with my elbow propped up on the couch.

"Still... you're our best friend... we care, so we worry." He persisted. And smiled and looked away.

"Your English is really good, Jungkook." I changed the subject.

"We... can't care?" He had trouble finding the word, but still asking with furrowed brows and pouted lips.

"Of course you can care, Jungkook. I just... I haven't known you guys for that long, but I don't want any of you to constantly have the worry of me being in trouble, in the back of your minds. Ya know? You guys shouldn't be stressed when you think of me."

"Constantly... always?" He mumbled. I nodded and then he nodded along with a giggle. "Ok ok. Not stress. I-" He gave a big smile. "When I see you. Namjoon hyung-" He then pretended to act super flustered and shy. "When he see you. So no stress." He giggled again. I couldn't help but laugh at his playful nature.

"Thanks Jungkook." I looked down at my hands when he suddenly sat on the coffee table in front of me.

"You can... come to all of us, not... just Namjoon." He searched the floor for the words before looking back up at me with a smile. His words resonated harder than they should have. I've never had friends so caring, so gentle, yet so playful, and so fun. The language barrier had nothing on us. When they spoke to me like this, with their hearts on their sleeves, my heart beats a little faster. It just feels like I have a bunch of older brothers, something that I always wanted. But because I'm the oldest and a girl, I had to learn to stand and defend myself with no one coming to my rescue. After everyone using my shoulders and leaning on me for my entire life, it's finally my turn.

And I can't believe how good it feels.
