After I was told that the plane is about to touch down in LA, I texted my mom that I arrived safely and followed Minseong out of the plane to where my bags were stored, my suitcase being pulled out and handed to me. While I was thankful for all of this, I did feel that sending a whole jet just for me was a little unnecessary. But I'm here now so oh well.
I held my suitcase behind me while Minseong talked to other people in Korean, presumably other BTS managers or something of the sort. I silently waited in the background until Minseong motioned me to follow him as he and the others started walking.
"Sorry for the wait, I had to explain to other staff members what was going on so they wouldn't mistake you as a sasaeng or something." He apologized with light bows of his head as he looked over his shoulder at me.
"Worst experience of my life, dealing with one of those b-" I stopped myself when I remembered that I'm around the boy's staff, so I should make a good impression. "Those girls. A nightmare." I chuckled and looked away.
"I heard about what happened and I'm sorry that you had to go through that. Some people like to treat BTS as objects that they own that aren't allowed to do anything without their permission. It's disgusting." He frowned, stressfully running a hand through his black hair.
"I'm sure every artist has had their fair share of fans like that. It's sad to say that it's common." I shrugged.
"Never heard of a fan trying to murder their favorite artist's potential love interest, but whatever you say." He mimicked my shrug. He and the men lead me outside where there was a dark van. "Put your stuff in the back." Minseong told me as he opened the door and climbed into the car. I put my bag and suitcase into the back part of the van before following his lead, the door shut behind me by another person. "The hotel is only a few minutes away, which is such a relief. I'm exhausted." He ran his fingers through his hair again.
"Didn't you say they had a concert earlier?" I looked over to watch him tiredly nod.
"They had a concert today, yeah. They have another one tomorrow and then we have a few days before flying to Dallas because that first concert is on the 9th there."
"Just keeping track of all of these dates sounds exhausting enough." I chuckled.
"Less tiring after you memorize the tour dates and locations." He smiled a little, throwing his head back against the seat. This guy seemed very relaxed, yet professional. I can see how he and Jin could get along as work partners. "You leave when we get to Atlanta, right?" I nodded in response.
"After the shows, I'll just go home." I chuckled.
"And if the boys want you to stay?" He perked a brow.
"Im sure that they not allowed to do that, just extra money wasted to bring me along."
"Well firstly, the guys are adults. That's why there isn't a relationship ban or anything like that because they're smart enough to know what's worth it and what isn't. And money isn't an issue. They could fly you from here to Korea 12 times with just the money in their pockets. If they want to bring you along, all you have to do is take care of yourself and your belongings and you'll be fine."
"Even so-" I was interrupted when the car suddenly stopped and I was stuck staring ur the window.
"We're here, let's go in. I can finally get some sleep." Minseong cheered as he quickly got out of the van, while I was a little hesitant to even put my foot on the ground. I'm here. I'm actually here to see them. It's just now sinking in.
Minseong rounded the van with my bag and suitcase, handing them to me as he swung his own bag over his shoulders. The process from walking in, to waiting for the elevator, to arriving on their floor, was all a blur. I didn't snap back until we were standing in front a door.
"Helloooo?" Minseong waved his hand in my face. I looked over to him in confusion. "Knock." He chuckled. My hand hesitantly raised, closing into a fist and preparing to knock, but my hand was shaking too much to even find the strength to maintain the fist just to knock. "Are you scared? It's only Jin." He snickered. I just bit my lip to try it again, only for Minseong to knock for me. Anxiety instantly flooded my body and I froze in place with wide eyes and uneven breaths.
I heard footsteps on the other side of the door before it slowly cracked. I wasn't able to see him but apparently he could see us because the person behind the door swung the door open with a big smile. That person being Jin.
"J-Jin..." My hands started to shake even more than they did before, my eyes stuck on watching his face.
"I know I'm so handsome. Come in, come in." He grinned softly and moved to the side to let me enter, though I couldn't find the strength in my legs to do so. He spoke back and forth to Minseong but I couldn't even begin to try to understand what they were saying. It's like my hearing tuned out and the only thing I could may attention to was Jin's face. I just can't believe that I was standing in front of him again.
"You react like this with Jin? I gotta be there when you see Namjoon again." Minseong laughed. Everything happening was very quiet as we were in a hotel hall. "Go in before someone comes out to investigate." He flicked his hands at both of us. He and Jin bowed to each other before Jin took my hands to pull me into the room, turning back around to grab my suitcase as well. Minseong closed the door himself and then the room was silent.
"J-Jin... I'm... I actually can't believe I'm here..." I had to laugh to keep myself from crying.
"Me too. You are here and I'm..." Jin mimicked his heart racing with hands on his chest. I chuckled and finally let out a breath to calm myself.
"H-how are you... Jin?" I looked up at him slowly, a gentle smile covering my lips. I felt a little more relived now that I was finally here and didn't have to be anxious about the process.
"Good. And you?"
"Okay, I guess. What about the others? Have they been good too?" He just nodded with a closed lip smile. I couldn't help but ask that question every opportunity I got because, I just don't want the guys to feel bad, obviously. I want them to be happy, smiling, laughing, enjoying life.
"Yes. All good. Thank you." Jin put up two thumbs up. "That's your um... sleep." He pointed to one of the beds then at the other one. "That's mine. Goodnight." He turned around to pull an eye mask from is suitcase, giving me a wave before putting it on and hoping into bed.
"Goodnight Jin." I was gonna protest but they did perform a concert today so-
"JIN HYUNG!!!" Someone suddenly started beating on the door. I know that voice from anywhere...
Jungkook.
