Chapter 35

Its been almost 2 months since Lacy started crawling i have been having to keep up with her shes adventurous like Ash shes always getting into something. The doctors say she should be walking soon considering shes 8 months now almost 9 months.
Today me and Lacy went over to Anne's considering she hasn't seen Lacy in awhile and neither has Lauren and Harry. So i got Lacy ready and grabbed her bag and walked next door. I rung the door bell to be greeted by a smiling Harry he just said Lana as he hugged me around the waist and i then walked into the kitchen and joined Anne still holding Lacy. Anne then said long time no see hun i just smiled and said I've just been really busy keeping up with Lacy and I've learned when she sleeps i sleep or i will get no sleep at all. She smiled and said i understand sweetheart she then asked to hold Lacy. I said yes while giving her Lacy. She said wow Lacy has gotten so big i said yea she already started crawling and i can barley keep up with her she likes to explore the house. Anne just smiled and said that's good. She then handed me Lacy back and said hun i gotta make breakfast why don't you take Lacy in there with Lauren and Harry and then me and you can talk. I smiled and agreed taking Lacy in the living room with Lauren and Harry telling them to yell for me if they need me or Lacy gets out of hand.
I then walked back in the kitchen with Anne and sit down at the bar. She turned around from where she was cooking and said Lana sweetheart have you even started planning yours and Ash's wedding i said yes i don't have my dress yet but im going this weekend and that me and Ash have picked a venue i just have to fly over and Paris and look at it. Anne then said have you got bridesmaids and that stuff picked out i said umm no i have Teagan as my maid of honor thats about it and Ash has the band as groomsmen. I may just have Lauren as my only bridesmaid. Anne said that's good and then suggested just that me , her , Teagan and Lauren all go dress shopping together this weekend and get a babysitter for Lacy and Harry i said that sounds like a good idea. Then we were interrupted by Lauren screaming umm Lana mom get in here i think Lacy is trying to walk. We both ran in there to see Lacy trying to stand up i went over to Lacy helping her stand up and held her hand while i walked her across the living room to Harry then i sit on one end of the living room and Anne on the other and Anne was calling for Lacy to come to her and i had Lauren record it for Ash. Lacy walked over to Anne and stood there and then Anne turned her back around and she walked back to me. I picked up Lacy on the cheek. I got my phone back from Lauren thanking her for recording it. I then sent it to Ash saying
Me: Babe Lacy has started walking isn't she just cute
Ash: just adorable just like her beautiful mom
Me: thanks Ash but she still looks more like you than me
Ash: not really she looks like both of us we created a beautiful baby
Me: we did and babe i cant wait till you get back
Ash: me either i miss you guys so much and i cant wait till i get to marry my best friend and the love of my life
Me: i cant wait either just a couple more months
Ash: i know babe well its late here i will talk to you later enjoy your day i love you
Me: i love you 2 bye.
After texting Ash i went and joined Anne who went back into the kitchen. We spent the rest of the time while she was cooking talking about mine and Ash's wedding. She said she would watch Lacy while i flew out to Pairs to see the venue with Ash considering we planned the viewing of the venue the day the boys are there for tour.
After we all eat me and Anne first cleaned up the kitchen then we all deiced to watch a movie. Lacy didn't really watch it she just sit in my lap and babbled and played with her toy. After the movie it was starting to get late so i said goodbye to the irwins and went home.
