• They think of him as a father figure
• Licorice is only 20 years old
• Poison Mushroom is 8
• Licorice doesn't know how to raise a kid but he tries his hardest
• Poison Mushroom lives with him
• Licorice sews their clothes for them
• But then he's terrible at putting the clothes together into genderless outfits
• And Poison Mushroom ends up going to meetings dressed like an Oompa Loompa
• And Pomegranate has to step in
• Dark Enchantress has had to talk to Licorice about it
• Licorice often has to stop Poison Mushroom from breaking into Red Velvet's house and petting Chiffon
• Red Velvet usually opens the door after hearing their nonsense and laughs
• He just opens the door and sees Licorice panicking as he holds a flailing and giggling Poison Mushroom upside down
• Licorice always takes care of Poison Mushroom's wounds (even if it's just a scrape) first and with incredible care.

• Licorice has a bit of a temper, but he always comforts Poison Mushroom and calms them down after he accidentally snaps at them
