"Never call me that again," said Espresso with a roll of his eyes.
"Alright, sweetie pie," replied Madeleine, flinging an arm around his boyfriend. "How's your day been?"
"Tedious." Still, he didn't look up from his work.
"Of course." Madeleine nodded. "How about you take a break?"
"No."
"Alright, you give me no choice."
"What," Espresso asked, turning around to watch as Madeleine picked him up effortlessly. "nO!" He clawed at his boyfriend's arms like an upset cat. "nOoOoO!!!!"
Madeleine chuckled and walked him into the bedroom, plopping down on the bed with him. He continued to hold him close as they lay next to each other.
"You can let go now," said Espresso in a bitter tone.
"No, because the second I do, you'll just try to escape." Madeleine cuddled him closer.
He sighed, "Yeah..."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
