IT'S BEEN 2 weeks since my tatay passing. Tinupad ko din yung pangako ko kay nanay na i will cut ties to them. Bumili ako ng bagong cellphone at nag palit din ako ng number. This is the right decision for us. Ayoko na nga drama, mag focus nalang ako sa kung anong meron ako ngayon.

"Ugly Graycie, what is it?" Rinig kong tanong ni Zamiel.

"It's a pancake young master. Obvious naman sa itsura di'ba?" Halatang hindi siya maka-paniwala. Ano bang mali sa pancake?

Tinapos ko lang yung kinakain ko at bumalik din sa kwarto namin ni Zach. Pumasok 'yon dito kanina pagkatapos magluto ng sumpa niyang pagkain. It's our first anniversary today. "Oo kakatapos ko lang. Mukhang pagod na pagod ka yata?" Tumabi ako sa kanya. Naka-higa siya tapos naka-upo ako sa tabi niya.

"It's because of you my love, I'm searching for takoyaki in early 3 am earlier." Ah, oo nga pala. Nag crave kasi ako don.

"Sorry naman. Yan kasi sabi ng mga babies e. You can sleep naman muna, Sammirah is at your company naman." I gently stroking his hair.

"Sinabi din ba nila na huwag mong kainin? You just smell that takoyaki then throw it away." Halata sa boses niya na antok talaga siya. Naku, kawawa naman si Zach.

"Maybe. Take a nap for a while." I kiss his forehead and continue stroking his hair.

"You know my love, I want to marry you." I stop for a bit.

"What? Are you proposing to me Zach?" Pabirong tanong ko. That's sudden from him to asked this question.

"Yes." Umupo siya at may kinuha sa cabinet. He faced me while holding a small red box.

"Oh my! Hindi ba to joke time? Baka prank mo lang 'yan?" He opened the box. Bumulaga sa'kin ang isang diamond ring. It's beautiful.

"I'm not a fan of joke or prank. This is a special day, i will not make it a joke my love." He smile at me. "I will ask you again. Will you marry me?" He added.

"Definitely yes! I will marry you." Naluluha na ko. Kinuha niya yung diamond ring at isinuot sa left ring finger ko.

"Thank you for saying yes and happy first anniversary my Graycie." I hugged him tight.
