"What are you guys laughing about?" The boys come back with our drinks. Minho slides me a piece of cheesecake. Love of my life, gosh.
Felix glances at me. "Should we tell them?"
"Hell no. They'll tell Chan for sure."
"Hey, hey, no English. That's cheating," Changbin pouts, glaring at us.
We both laugh, shaking our heads. "Maybe if you actually paid attention in class," Felix sasses, winking at me.
"I did..." he grumbles, sipping at his coffee.
I smile, looking down at my plate. I cut a piece, lifting it to my mouth. The ways of cheesecake. I love it so much. I nudge Minho with my foot, holding a piece in front of his face.
It was like a scene from a romance movie. He eats it from me, grinning. He elbows Changbin, "haha, I get cheesecake. I'm the good boyfriend."
I laugh, getting another piece for Felix. He does the same thing. "Ha, bitch. I'm his best friend."
Changbin pouts, glaring at the two. "Binnie," I say, waving a piece in front of him. He gladly accepts it.
"Fucking assholes. I'm the brother. Fuck you," he spits, scoffing at the two playfully.
Brother.
I clench my jaw, the smile still holding on my face. Damn right, he's the brother. He's my brother. Him and Chan.
-
"Do you really miss Australia?" I question, holding onto Felix's hand tightly as we swing our arms. We all decided to head to the park to get some fresh air. Changbin and Minho were playing on the swings as Lix and I walked around the trail.
"All the time," he responds, glancing over. "I miss the smell, the looks, the warmth. The people too. I'm losing my accent, man."
"What? No, you aren't. Let me hear you."
"What do you want me to say?"
"I don't know. Say, I don't know."
"I don't know."
"I don't knaur."
"Knower?"
"Knaur. There's an R sound."
"Know. Oh, you mean at the end?"
"Yeah, knaur."
"Know?"
"Say something else. Home has that too."
"Home."
"Horme. See?"
"What?" He laughs, confused.
"Never mind," I giggle. "Let's get back to the boys before Minho kills your toy."
When we turn back, both Minho and Changbin were staring at the ground. They looked like they were talking. They weren't swinging anymore, just sitting. I had a good feeling I knew what the conversation was about.
"Binnie!" Felix shouts, running forward and pulling me along. "Sung, call him the word."
"What word?"
"The one we talked about in the cafe."
My face lights up. "Hyung, you're a dick, but I love you."
"Lix is teaching you bad words? Really, Fe? I'm going to tell Chan about this."
That's when fear lands itself onto Felix's face.
"Wait, wait, wait. Let's talk about this, bun. It wasn't a bad word. It... was a term of endearment." He tries smiling, but it looked hella guilty."You're a little shit. I'm calling Chan."
Once Changbin pulled out his phone, it was war.
