When lunch time rolled around, it seemed off. I mean, of course it was off, but there was a huge elephant in the room, even if we had already discussed it.

"Hyun, did you finish the bio paper from last week?" I question, remembering how I wasn't able to finish it.

"Yeah, but I already turned it in. I'll send you the answer key though — found this website with loads of answers."

"I don't understand how you guys are even passing that class," Chan shakes his head.

I shrug, sipping my water, "It's not hard to cheat. Plus bio is useless for my future career."

"What I mean is I don't understand how- you know what, never mind," he shakes his head, making us giggle at his frustration.

"Science class has always been hard, but easy to cheat at. It's a class about facts. Google has facts. You can Google science information and get your answers. Therefore, learning science is dumb," Jeongin states, putting his heart in every sentence.

"See what you guys are doing to my child?" Seungmin glares, reaching over to swat the back of Hyunjin's head. He ducks quickly, but the younger is twice as fast. All we hear next is a thump on the table and a high-pitched whine afterward.

"Sorry, not sorry."

"I thought you were our mother. You're supposed to take care of us. This is child abuse."

"I told you guys to stop calling me that-"

"When do we ever listen?"

"Point taken."

"Babe, do you want me to take you home?" Minho asks, practically begging me with his eyes to let him.

I sigh, shutting my locker door, "Fine, Minho, but tell me why again?"

"I just don't want you to feel alone. I know how you get. I'm here for you. And just in case something happens, I'll be right there."

I felt a little overwhelmed with how much the guys were watching over me, but I couldn't exactly complain since they're doing it because they care.

"I appreciate it, Min, but you can't be there for everything thing happens."

"I'll try my best, though. Let's go."

He grasps my hand, walking us down the nearly empty hallway. He holds the door for me before taking our time to get to his car.

"You know, they might not even be home-" I try suggesting again, just wanting him to stress a little less.

"Will you just let me take you home? And you know they are home, so don't even try it."

I huff, grabbing his free hand and playing with his fingers, "I'm just scared. I don't want to deal with him. He's hurt me so bad, Min. I don't exactly know what to do or what to say. Even if he apologizes, I can't accept it. I can barely look at him."

"I know baby, but I'm sure your parents will try and settle everything. I know his apologies are dust right now, but I'm sure he'll come around. Just call me if something happens. It's only Tuesday. Just a few more days and you can get out of the house for the entire weekend."

"What if I can't take those few days?"

"You'll always have a warm, welcoming spot beside me at my house."

I nod, dreading the moment where I'd have to face my brother. It wasn't an easy thing. I thought it would've been fine if he apologized and moved on, but my own emotions had other plans for me.

"Thanks a lot. I appreciate it."

"Always."
