Chapter 46

Lovely's POV

I wiped the sweat off my forehead stunned about my dream I had earlier on. I couldn't help but notice how wet and moistened my panties were. It wàs too good to be true but right now I have to leave this house.

I pulled off the covers before swinging my legs to the side and standing up. My back cracked a little and I groaned. I walked out of the bed and immediately the smell of toast hit me making my stomach growl. That's when I realized how hungry I was.

I haven't eaten in hours and she keeps on bragging how she can't hurt me. I rolled my in annoyance before huffing.

I continued walking down the stairs in silence. I reached the living room and didn't bother looking for her before heading for the door. I don't have time for her stupid games."Wait"I rubbed my belly softly before turning around.

It was the routine that calmed me down. I met her gaze and I saw her exhale out deeply."Can we talk?" I narrowed my eyes at her not knowing what to say.

"We don't... please!" She cut me off and my eyes widened a little. Oh Almighty Scarlet has begged for once, what a miracle. A kick erupted in my belly and rubbed the place softly. I couldn't help but smile inwardly knowing I will have a jock in the house soon.

I took that as a sign to nod .... maybe we need to sort out things properly. I nodded and she walked to me , grabbing my arm softly leading me to the kitchen. I remembered the dream and I gulped from how close we are.

What if we end..no it won't happen. I was lost to realize she had set me down on the stool and a plate of food was placed infront of me. She also bought a bottle of water and two apples from the fridge setting them infront of me too.

She placed the cutlery down to near me wrapped in a napkin before sitting down near me but a two minute distance between us. The silence between us was killing me and I grabbed the cutlery before digging in the food .

I couldn't wait to leave as soon as I finish my food. I ate like I was starved for days and I felt her eyes on me and I didn't bother looking at her. It didn't take long before I ate everything she gave me.

"Thank you." I said to her before I looked down on my lap. She sighed deeply before running a hand through her hair. 'How do I even start this.' She mumbled under her breath and I rolled my eyes.

Really

I felt her turn around looking in my direction. My head was lowered as my heart raced. The tension is the room was forming. "I-I'm sorry." Scarlet voiced out and she sounded like she rarely says it out.

Her voice was deep yet gentle. My heart skipped and I fiddled with the hem of my shirt. "I really regret that I left you but I had too." I removed my eyes from the hem of my dress to her eyes. Her eyes were emotionless...just dark no light.

I couldn't believe anything that came out of her mouth because everything about her said otherwise. Everything about her was off. Tears formed in my eyes.

Lies

I rolled my eyes at her before standing up stumbling a little. I gritted my teeth as I glanced at her before walking out of the stupid kitchen. She didn't bother to stop me and I sighed with glassy eyes. The need to scream and shout at her was growing each second I spent with her.

Her eyes were scary and I couldn't help but think I was looking into a monster. My heart ached more as I blinked the tears away. I didn't want to live in a life full of lies. Did she really mean it?

I headed for the door as I raised my hand to wipe away the tears. It didn't take long before I opened the door and walked out barefoot. I looked at the sky with tears in my eyes as I wished my death then.

I felt someone grabbing my wrist and turning me around facing them pulling me to their chest. I inhaled their scent and it was Scarlet's mixed with some smoke. I tried getting away from her embrace but she hugged me tightly. My forehead was touching her chest as I sobbed.

"I don't want to see you cry but I still hurt you." My hands formed fists at the side of her shirt as a huge lump formed in my throat. Her voice was filled with so many emotions, pain , sadness , regret and I shook my head.

"You don't deserve me , I'm not someone you have to cry Lovely." I stiffened as I wiped my tears. Her voice became deep and scary. The lump in my throat was squeezing the air out of me and I parted my lips gasping for air.

"I kill people for pleasure, I'm heartless and I only think about myself." I stiffened in her embrace and she grabbed me by my shoulders pulling me away from her cold body. I meet her gaze and her eyes were lifeless.

"What do you mean?" I choked out as I stepped back a little. She smirked at me before dropping the boom at me. "I lead the largest mafia in the world. " My eyes widened as her smirk sent shivers down my spine. Her smirk widened devilishly at me.

"I-i" I opened my mouth to form words but nothing came out. "I deal in drugs , bombs, terrorism ,human trafficking...Stop you are just joking." I interrupted her not believing what she was saying to me. Her laugh pulled me out of my thoughts and I shivered.

"I'm not going to believe anything you are saying, you just want me out of your life." I whispered and her laugh stopped before she looked back at me. Her smirk formed again and her eyes held fire. She took steps towards me and I couldn't step back.

"Would you believe if I told you I killed your dad?"
