"Ah! Greetings curious one!"

"You must be wondering, how are times the way they are here in Truelania."

"How can Light so pure and kind be so cruel and evil and the Darkness have a good side?"

"They are many ancient stories that speak of the Light being good and the Dark being bad. But was it always this way?"

"Well... let me tell you a story. A story that will give you a completely different outlook on the so called 'Darkside' and the 'side of Light.'

Once upon a time around 200 years ago on the 1st of September there was a fond kingdom that was ruled by a woman who ruled for decades now by the name of Lucy who always looked young no matter what age. She ruled with her husband Travo and her daughter Truelania, it was the Truelanian kingdom of light.
In that kingdom every thing was peaceful and bright. It welcomed everyone with open arms who wanted to live there. The kingdom itself didn't have any enemies, because it was always friendly to its neighbors. It had several alliances with other kingdoms and was always ready to help them in need. Until one day a Dark kingdom appeared in the north west of Legalola in the year of 1928 on 23rd January it called itself what it was the Kingdom of Darkness. Queen Lucy and King Travo didn't think much of it due to the fact of how small and weak it looked. However on the 25th February it suddenly declared a war upon the Truelanians and wanted to take their land and claim it as theirs.
Lucy and her husband were very unprepared for this they didn't know what to do. The royal army was failing, because the enemy was too strong. King Travo then came onto the battlefield in person to face the evil leader himself. As he stood on the battlefield with his sword in his hand and his crown on his head he was ready to fight his enemy. And there she was the witch herself... Antikia. The most evil of the evil forces in history of Legalola. She challenged Travo to a fight and after a long battle.. the king lost. As he was on his knees with several wounds and a broken sword he couldn't let Antikia take thier kingdom so easily. So he offered her a deal, that if she only took 15% of thier land she can also take his life. Antikia was satisfied with that deal because Truelania was a huge kingdom which meant that 15% was still alot of land and agreed. It is unknown how exactly Travo had died because there were no traces of him left but Antikia indeed followed the deal and took the 15% land that were offered to her.
Then Antikia casted a dark spell that no creature has ever casted or even heard of before and inverted the side of Light with the side of Darkness which meant that her kingdom was now the kingdom of light and darkness has fallen upon the Truelanians. After one year of Antikia ruling the Kingdom of Light she gave up her throne to a new ruler and was never seen again. Seeing no hope Queen Lucy accepted the loss of her husband and the darkness that was now in her kingdom because she had to care for her young daughter and her people.

As the years have past most people don't talk about the war anymore and how the Darkness came to be in our land. Even the queen herself states that darkness has always been in her reing and that it was on our side. The Truelanian kingdom of Light became the Truelanian kingdom of Darkness and is now called in modern age the Truelanian Empire.
