"Laura?!" Dave panicked.
"S-sorry. It's just that.. this is so thoughtful." She spoke in a slightly broken voice.
We all looked at her.
She took her witch hat off and lifted herself off of her chair. She turned to Dave and gave him a big hug.
"Thank you so much." She said.
Dave smiled as Laura let go.
"And to all of you to for doing this for me. I will cherish this bracelet like my tea." She smiled.
Laura really loves tea. Probably because she's British. She even takes time out of her day for a special tea time where she drinks tea and enjoys 'biscuits'. She once even got offended at Ray because she called tea 'fancy water'. Let's just say Ray had to plead on her knees for her forgiveness for 2 days straight.
"Damn really?! Those are some big words comin' from ya." Ray said.
Laura chuckled.
We continued to have a nice time together. We continued exchanging and eating candy, laughed and even looked through Laura's photo album!
"You already printed out the end of the year class picture?!" I asked.
"Yeah, I went to print it out right after school ended." Laura stated.
"Is this why you were in such a rush?" I asked jokingly.
She shoved me playfully.

Sasha, Annie, me, Miss Yami, Lilith, Zack, Lolly,
Jenny, Dave and Ray"I like how our class looks. So vibrant." Laura said.
"I still can't believe next year is our last year together." Ray said.
"Not all of us." Jack intervened a little panicked.
"I'm not talkin' about us! The class! We probably won't keep in touch that much." Ray said.
"I guess you're kinda right. It's sad that Sydney didn't show up for the picture." I said.
"Oh, yeah! Even Sasha came and he looks like shit here." Laura pointed out.
He looks tired and has a bruise on his neck. I can't tell if it's a hickey or not. He's still smiling through it.
I frowned.
This looks like a cry for help.
"Ugh, it's such a shame that taking this picture was so annoying, though. The photographer suddenly couldn't find his camera and had to look for it for 30 minutes to find it still in his bag!" Dave complained.
"I guess he just couldn't picture his life without it." Jack said.
"Oooh God....." Dave facepalmed and sighed in disappointment.
"Get it? Because he's a photographer?" Jack nudged Dave with his elbow.
At this point, my head is also on the table.
"That was fucking terrible you plonker." Laura insulted.
We stayed up in the attic for a while longer until it occurred to me that there is something called 'The time'. Half the cake was gone and it's almost 10 PM. We decided to wrap up the party and part ways.
"It's been a great time, you guys." Laura said.
"Thanks again for all of this." She added.
We all exchanged a few more words before I teleported them back to where we were before. That way, they won't get caught. Darkness emerged from under my hat and morphed into his tall self.
"Oh! I forgot you were there." I said.
"Good, I didn't want to get noticed by anyone outside." He said.
"How was your time outside with me?" I asked as I started to clean up what was left of the birthday.
"Besides someone nearly murdering you today... it was nice to see the city again." He said and started grabbing the chairs to put them back to the other room.
"Yeah, that really was something." I said.
