Sasha was sobbing uncontrollably, so uncontrollably that it sounded like he was choking. Despite that, he was still apologizing through his sobs, but this time, he was basically screaming the words. I still don't know why or what he's apologizing for, but now it is my top priority to calm him down before going any further with questioning his weird behavior.

I tried my best to hug him closer despite my disability. My arm was wrapped around his waist, his arms around my neck. Once I pulled him close to me as much as I could, I started whispering to him that I was fine and that everything was going to be ok. Without a doubt, it did calm him down a bit.

I tillted my head against his, and I won't lie, I did cry some tears myself from seeing him like this because for some reason and somehow, I could feel, no, sense the guilt and sorrow that he was feeling! The guilt is very bitter, so bitter that I can almost taste it. It's like torture because it isn't the kind of bitter like from chocolate. It is way stronger. The sorrow however is very hard to describe. It's simply said very depressing. like rain in a foggy night or dead flowers that are slowly wilting.

How do I sense it? How do I know it's the things he's feeling? It's weird because I sort of just know. My mind is connecting the dots and telling me it's his feelings. I don't know why I think that. Well, I'm not a human anymore, infact I'm a demon. Maybe it's like an instinct?

I should worry about this later. Right now, I should worry about Sasha. He was only quietly sobbing on my shoulder again. After a few minutes of hugging and reassuring him that I was indeed fine. He got up a little and let go of me. He then sat back down next to me and took a better look at me. His eyes locked on my right arm. He put his one hand gently on my amputated arm and covered his mouth with his other one.

"Oh god, your arm.. your poor arm.." He had a worried look on his face.

"And your eye.." He looked at the bandages that were covering my right eye that is also no longer functional.

I felt like a bullet shot through my heart at that moment. He was trying so hard not to cry at the sight. I looked away for a moment.

"I'm so sorry." Sasha started.

"Stop apologizing. None of this is your fault infact it's partly mine." I continued.

"I tried to attack the monster with a sword. It got a hold of me and then-"

"IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT EITHER TRICIA!" Sasha grabbed me by my upper arms.

"..." Sasha froze and took his hands back to himself.

"I'm sorry, I'm just so glad that you're here." He put a hand on my shoulder, averting his eyes.

"It's fine, no worries." I smiled slightly.

I giggled slightly but quickly went quiet when Sasha put his hands on my shoulders.

"Tricia, tell me, are you really ok? You look so different. What happened?" He asked with a worried yet serious look on his face.

It took me a moment to answer his question. It took me by suprise. I didn't know what to say. But I know I can trust him.

"Sasha, my mom is gone. How am I supposed to feel?" I began.

"Strange things are happening. I don't know if I still have somewhere to live. I have so many questions! I APPARENTLY HAVE A GRANDMOTHER THAT CAME OUT OF NO WHERE." I'm getting angry and frustrated again.

Sasha put one arm around me, trying to comfort me.

"I DIED SASHA I'M NOT HUMAN ANYMORE AND NOW I'M DISABLED! I'M SO GOD DAMN LOST RIGHT NOW!"

I started crying. Sasha's eyes widened and his worried face turned even more worried. He took me into his arms and hugged me. Now I was the one crying on his shoulder.

"Don't worry Tricia, no matter what will happen, I will always be by your side and be there for you." Sasha said with a warming smile on his face.

"We can get through this together!"

Sasha hugged me closer after he said that. I'm so lucky to have him. He's the best friend I could ever ask for. I thanked him for the kind words and we let go of each other.

"But can I ask you a question?"

"Ask away." I said smiling again.

"Since you aren't human anymore.. what are you now?" Sasha raised an eyed.

"I'm.."

"A Darkmatter Demon." I said nervously, only expecting the worst reaction.

Sasha's eyes lit up in excitement and awe. A wide smile spread across his face. This is the complete opposite of what I expected.

"Oh my gosh! That's so cool Tricia! That explains the sharp teeth and everything!" Sasha exclaimed.

"Are those new nails you have real!?" He asked, excited like a little kid about to get free candy at a candy store.

"Let me tell you, dude."
