"Jack!" I called out.

He put his hand down and the ice disappeared into the ground, letting the clowns corpse drop with a disgusting noise.

I ran over to him. His cloth from his costume still in the snow.

He looked at me with his half lidded eyes.

"Are you ok?" He asked and put his hand on my shoulder.

Jack isn't good at expressing emotions, but I can tell that he's concerned.

"Yeah, I'm alright. A little shaken up, but I'm not hurt." I answered with a slight smile.

He squeezed and patted my shoulder with a nod and a small smile. We both turned to the corpse.

"Damn dude, you really massacred this man!" I said to him as we stood over it.

"I can't control my ice powers that well yet.."  He scratched his head.

He also started to shiver. I think him using his powers makes his temperature drop. I gave him a pat on the back with my right.

"Thank you.." He said with a sigh.

"So, what do we do now?" I asked him.

"We have to get rid of the evidence somehow." He replied.

He went over to where his white cloth was and picked it up. He then returned to me.

"There shouldn't be any evidence anywhere that it was us, so we could just cover up the corpse until someone else finds it." He suggested.

"That's brutal, dude. On a graveyard? You realize I can just burn the corpse and leave no evidence, right?" I said.

"..." He dropped the cloth.

I take it that he agrees to my idea. As I was about to do it, Jack noticed something.

"Oh wait, what's this?" He asked and picked up a business card.

"Casper Winston? Is this the dudes name?" I asked.

"I don't know.." Jack answered slowly.

I took the card from him to take a closer look.

"Lightners cooperation..? secret emergency executor..?"

"...Camp-shortcake.com?"

Suddenly we heard something in the bushes. It startled us, so I quickly burned the corpse and accidentally Jacks costume and we ran off. When we made it far out of the graveyard, we stopped to look at the card again. The card looks serious. Like it's official from the Lightners. Did they try to execute me?! Although the website link is really throwing me off...

Jack and I discussed this for a little longer. We agreed that he would take the card and check out the link with Dave, who has a bigger understanding of computers. We were walking back to the others. The snow was falling softly.

"Are you ok?" Jack asked me as we walked.

"Yeah, man. I'm fine. He didn't hurt me." I smiled.

"No, I mean your mom. Are you alright?" He asked.

"..I guess it is starting to get to me." I answered, looking away.

"I'm sorry.. We'll get your mom back. I'm sure of it." He put his arm around me.

"It's fine. Just.. don't tell Laura. I don't wanna spoil the mood on her birthday." I said.

He looked kind of sad.

"Hey, don't worry about me. I'll be fine." I playfully nudged him.

"Promise?" He asked.

"I promise. I'll tell you guys if something comes up." I smiled at him.

He looked away.

We continued to walk. The others went far without me.. How did I not notice them leave?

"There ye guys are!" Ray waved at us.
