It looks kinda simple but still unique. It also looks new but feels old.
I opened it carefully. It feels very used, it has been opened very very often. It has a few folds and cracks. I suddenly heard footsteps and took the book to my room. I sat down at my desk and moved my laptop to the side.
I put the book down and opened it again. Its pages are very thin... Like in the Bible. I'm afraid that if I'm not careful with it it'll rip. I closed the book again.
"This is the same symbol as in Laura's church." I realized.
This symbol is everywhere in there. It's the religious symbol of Darkness. A diamond in a circle that's crossed out. I opened the book again, looking through its contents. There is a story written in very clean handwriting.
Once upon a time, in a land so far away. Ruled a shining kingdom that no creature dared to face. Ruling with an iron fist and standing center stage was a noble marriage, only 40 years of age. There wasn't anything the Kingdom didn't have, with their only daughter named after their blooming land. Skies filled with phoenixes and all of them blazing. They stand great and tall no matter what they'll be facing. But then there was Antikia who was causing us a haze. She wanted everyone to bow down as her slaves. Ever since the sacrifice who was our only king, the kingdom was devoured by a thing!
And that thing was... Darkness.
After years and years, I documented everything here. Everything that has to do with Darkness. I learned that it is not as heartless and that it's a very spectacular thing. It's magic, it's creatures, it is so much more. But please remember that it is not harmless...
If you find this book, please think twice before doing anything.
I was quite shocked after reading this. Everything makes sense. We learned this in history class. Our King, who once ruled over our land with the Queen, sacrificed himself for the greater good. He saved our home from Antikia and is still remembered in our history and national anthem for his act.
Whoever wrote this was alive at that time or maybe even still is.
I closed the book and flipped it. There is
'In the name of our God of Darkness, Dark Matter.'
Written on the back. But no author. Whoever wrote this wants to stay hidden. Maybe I shouldn't have found this, but it's so interesting. What else is written here?
I returned to the page with the story and turned the page. It had 'Rituals 7-35' written on it and the religious symbol on the other page painted with black. I turned the page again. This page contains a summoning ritual.
This creature is just under 7 feet tall, slender and pitch black. It has long horns and a long devil tail. Its two legs are horse like and it has big claw like hands connected to its long slim arms. It has two big bulging white eyes with black pupils but doesn't seem to have a mouth yet somehow speaks. Its voice is deep and the creature only seems to appear on its own in dreams. It wears black heavy chains that rattle with every step. Its chest cavity is open where its white heart is guarded by chains and bones.
Draw the symbol from the previous page with blood and ashes on any hard surface. Put a flower of your choice in the middle. Then put down any organic black pillar candles with wooden wicks on each corner of the diamond shape and simply light them. Sit down infront of the circle and put your head down and your hands together high up.
Now repeat 'Darkness arise' exactly 8 times and the creature shall arise.
