"Yo Tricia, wait up!"

I stopped and turned around. It's Laura and Ray! My favorite duo! I ran to them and Ray hugged me, literally picking me up.

"WoaaAAAAAAAH!!" I yelped.

"Ray! Be careful with the disabled person!" Laura yelled.

"What disabled person? She's perfectly fine." Ray charmed, putting me back down.

I always forget how strong she can be.

"Hey, how're you doing?" Laura asked, somewhat worried.

"I'm doing better, finally slept properly." I answered.

"That's great! Now, cmon lads, if we don't get goin' we'll be late." Ray said, giving me and Laura a pat on the back.

As we walked to school, we stopped at the bakery and bought some buns and when we arrived, we met our most loyal allies to our gang.

The Motorheads

In other words: Jack, Dave and Sasha.

They are called the Motorheads because they can all drive a motorcycle. Our gang with me, Laura and Ray is no different. We're called:

The Gossip Girls

But nobody besides the Motorheads know about that because we're undercover. We usually just try to find out nasty stuff about people that many others hate because they're either bullies or just straight-up annoying. We even have our own mailbox at school so that people can leave requests to bully people or dirty secrets about them.

Honestly, the reason why we even do this started last year when we wanted to get back at someone who kept picking on Sydney. They kept calling her names like 'emo' and even beat her up a couple times because she dyed her hair and stuff.

Me, Laura and Ray felt bad. Especially me since I knew her from the orphanage. So we teamed up and took him down by spreading rumors that turned out to be true. He was suspended for 2 weeks straight and graduated last summer.

Miss Yami loved to watch the story unfold and told us to continue since there's never anything interesting going on here. I mean, sitting down every year in a school teaching kids without any drama happening is pretty boring, to be honest. She also said that she would get us out of trouble if it's related to that.

Today, Sydney still gets picked on by some people, but they only call her 'emo' every now and then. And it's not very often. We don't talk the way we used to either. She's very distant to us and we're not sure why.

It could be because of her half-sister Skyler. They are both adopted now by separate families but went to our school together. Skyler always thought of Sydney as annoying since Sydney is the younger one.

One day, she completely blew up in anger at Sydney in the cafeteria. She told her how much she hated her and how she wasn't her sister. Skyler has moved to a next-door city since and they haven't really talked. However, our gang, along with the Motorheads, are still in touch with her.

So that could be why.

As we greet the Motorheads and exchange hugs, we walked to class together. It's great that we're all in one class. We're class 9A.

The reason why it's '9'A is because the school system is a lot like the one in Germany. When you're 3 years old, you go 3 years to kindergarten, then 4 years to elementary school, then 6 years to middle school and then after graduation you can decide if you want to go to work or keep going to school.

We take our seats and set down our bags. Each table has two chairs facing the blackboard. Jack sits next to Dave, Laura next to Ray and I next to Sasha. Miss Yami walked in and said good morning. Soon after, she checked if everyone was here.

You must raise your hand if your name gets called.

"Sayoko, Sydney, Laura, Clay, Annie, Tricia, Ray, Zack, Dave, Sasha, Lolly, Sophie, Juli, Jenny, Lilith, Sky and Jack."

Everyone's here today. We're the smallest class in this school. A class of only 17 kids. That really is not many.

I keep getting glanced at by the others. Probably because I'm the only one who got so hurt during the incident that I'm now disabled. Miss Yami gave us some work to do. She called me to come outside. So I did.

"Tricia, I'm so glad you came today." She said, putting her hands on my shoulders.

"Huh, why?" I was confused.

"I'm sure you've heard by now that the heroes are quitting, right?"

"Yeeeees?" I said, sounding unsure.

"I know the real reason why."
