"AAAAAAAH!!! IT BURNS! IT BURNS! WHAT THE FUCK?! IT HURTS LIKE ACID!" I screamed on the ground as my hand was bleeding.

Scarlet rushed in and was horrified of the scenario that was going on in here. My blood was dripping on the ground as I tried to hold back my tears. I violently bit my lip while grunting and squeezing my eyes shut.

"OH MY GOODNESS, WHAT HAPPENED HERE?!" She kneeled down next to me and grabbed my wounded hand.

My hand looks like it was used like a chew toy for a dog that was aggressively chewed down to the bone. Scarlet dialed the number 111 on her phone and called an ambulance. The ambulance arrived a few minutes later and took me to the EH. Which stands for emergency healing.

I swear the hospital is like my second home at this point.

In the EH, I was taken to a room on a bed. They quickly bandaged my hand in the ambulance to stop the bleeding. A healer was already there and quickly got to work. They took off the bandages gradually as they healed my hand. You could see my flesh and skin, basically regrow on my exposed bones. The pain faded after 15 minutes as my hand healed completely.

After it was finally over, I felt weak. I think I lost a lot of blood. They asked me how I felt and when I answered, they said to eat food that are rich in iron because of the blood loss. They also questioned me about what happened. I just said that I touched water and my body reacted to it like acid. It burned right through me. They at first didn't understand what I said, but then said that we should get our pipes checked. After that, I was basically good to go.

I love Truelanian medicine. It's like cheating.

Scarlet was waiting for me in the waiting room, worried. We she noticed me she was so happy to see that I was fine. I really gave her a scare. But honestly, I thought I was gonna die in that bathroom myself. That was quite scary, not gonna lie... Scarlet pointed out that she's surprised that I didn't even get a scar after that. Honestly, I'm surprised, too.

We came back and Scarlet cleaned the blood off the bathroom floor. I returned to my room and was having a midlife crisis. Darkness returned back into his original demon form and asked me what happened. He was quite concerned after seeing the blood on the floor, he said. I told him what happened and flooded on my bed.

"Will I not be able to shower? Ever again?!" I asked myself.

"I don't know... But it's going to be a challenge if you won't be able to." Darkness answered.

"Noooo! I don't wanna be like the girl from my class who stinks like she showers once a week!" I cried out.

Flame cawed.

"What if you could remove your power?" She asked.

"What?" I asked.

"What did she just say?" Darkness asked.

"While having your powers, you can not get in contact with water, or it will extinguish you. You can remove your powers, however, to avoid that." She cawed.

"How do I do that???" I asked in hopes of getting an easy answer.

Darkness didn't even ask at this point.

"Every element can be turned into a possession. Just pull it out of yourself!" She cawed one last time.

I was confused at her explanation. Darkness was confused about everything. He put a hand on my shoulder. He didn't even have to say anything.

"She says that I can turn my power into an item by 'pulling it out of myself'..." I slowly said.

He was even more confused now, but after some thinking together, we just decided to try it in the most stupid way possible.

I put my hand on my chest and pretended to grab onto something and then started to move my hand away from myself. On the first try, it didn't work. So I tried again and this time, I pulled harder and actually felt something, but it still didn't work. I tried one final time and I pulled out a necklace.

I felt my temperature almost instantly go down. The necklace is quite pretty and also warm. It has a flat cyan phoenix hanging from the silver chain. I put it on as Darkness waited for my conclusion.

"I think it worked, Darkness! I feel colder!" I charmed.
