"Listen, Tricia, I know you want to-"
"Tricia, I'd love to help! Ray interrupted Laura.
Laura looked at Ray as if she had just called her mom a dog. I didn't know what to say.
"...R-really?" I stuttered out.
"Yeah! But what exactly do you have planned? Or do you have anything else planned yet?" Ray asked, smiling as always.
"Oh, uh, yes! Yesterday after school, I talked to Miss Yami about the situation and what we could do. She suggested that since she is a teacher, she would be able to give us some training in the ancient arena! You know how Miss Yami not only used to be a lie detector for the angecy but also a professional fighter!" I explained.
"That's a great start! My strength from my daily farm life could finally come to a bigger use." She said and flexed her arm.
"Ray, y-you're insane!" Laura baffled out.
"Oh, cmon Laurie. It's not like we're human or somethin'." Ray argued.
"Well, you're not very immortal either and besides, we're too young for such actions." Laura said.
"Well, I'm gonna help somehow whether I'm immortal or not and besides, I could finally find out what I am actually capable of as a dragon and you could too!" She exclaimed and pointed at her.
"Exactly! You could finally get back at Karline! You could show the people what a real ghost is!" I supported Ray.
"ENOUGH!" Laura raised her voice.
"Look, I still think that this is nuts, but because you're a very dear friend of mine that I've known for so long and has always been there for me, I'll think about it, ok?" Laura said and sat back down next to Ray.
"Fair enough, text me when you make your final decision." I said.
"Should I text the boys if they wanna join, Trish?" Ray said, holding up her phone and tilltong her head.
"Sure, I mean I can do it too, you know." I replied.
"I'll text them then." She said and started typing.
"But wait, one more very important thing!" I quickly said and she looked up.
"This also is important to you, Laura, even if you won't agree with this." I said to her and she looked at me as if she was ready to listen.
"Everything that we have just said about the plan stays between us and ONLY us." I stated.
"No one, not a SINGLE SOUL can know about this because who knows who could be listening." I dramatically raised myself off of my seat.
"Yes, sir!" Ray saluted and continued typing.
Laura simply nodded with her arms crossed.
Me and Laura started talking about a way we could hang out today. I occasionally mentioned that I had summoned Darkness and that he is my new cat because I felt like I had to since he is also part of the plan. Laura obviously called me a reckless life-tired, though she was curious about the ritual and how it went. Dark magic is one of her big interests next to music. I told her about it and how I had to burn my clothes. She facepalmed and called me a stupid cow in German and decided that we'll go to the mall whether I liked it or not.
Moments later, Ray finally started typing and put her phone away. She agreed to our idea even though she said she didn't have any money. However, we took the bus to the mall instead of simply warping there. I'm not sure if I should tell them about that. Or at least not yet.
We went to a few stores and I found a shirt that Laura would wear. It's black with a typical black metal album cover print on the front. I bought it for 9,99 Peries as a birthday present for her. I was losing hope as nothing caught my attention after 3 stores, but then in the fourth store, I found her.
