It's been a week now since I got my replacements and everything is going dandy. Training has been going steady, too. Though, Laura caught me using the warp pads and I'm not sure if that's good or not. Let's just hope I won't get in trouble too soon. We all have our artifacts now and were given the task to plan our hero uniform that fits them.

I already have something in mind and sketched on paper. Flame told me that I could modify my staff in various ways, so I decided to give it a blade and turn it into a badass battle axe. I wasn't sure where I was supposed to do that, so I asked Miss Yami if she knew a black smith. She told me that behind the Mountain of the Great in the complete northeast of Truelania lies a very old town that's today called Old Truelania. Apparently, there lives the best blacksmith in the entire Empire, according to her.

And since I have absolutely no idea where else to go, I'm obviously gonna go there. I wonder if there are warp pads in that direction on my map.

'Surely there is...' I thought and was right.

There is a warp pad, what looks like, in the center of the town. Alrighty then, it's Saturday, perfect whether and I've got nothing to do so let's fucking go!

I packed my most necessary stuff and got going. I realized over the past week that jackets are now quite useless to me since the staff keeps me warm and I don't get sick. I also learned that I can teleport myself and not only objects! I'm having trouble figuring out how, though. I have to be very specific on where exactly I'm teleporting.

I already ended up stuck in a wall one time. It didn't help that Dave laughed at me.

I went out and left the staff home. I'll teleport it to me when I get there. I warped to the town center of Old Truelania and didn't really know where to. The town looks like a medieval east European village except that it's snowy. It also feels colder here than in Travo. Maybe like 4 or 5 degrees.

I asked some of the townspeople for directions to the blacksmith that I was told about. They knew who I was talking about and said that I needed to go to the Mountain of the Great. That's where she's supposed to be these days, isolated. Yes, the blacksmith is a she. Although they also told me to be cautious. Apparently, she's very grumpy and hates company.

Now I'm a little nervous about meeting her.

I warped to the mountain to get this over with. Unfortunately, I am at the bottom of the mountain. The Mountain of the Great is not called that for no reason. It's the tallest mountain in our entire Empire, with the highest point being 4357 meters.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me."

There is only one thing good about this situation and that's that there are stone stairs that go what looks like up to half of the mountain. With no other choice besides trying to teleport, that could go horribly wrong. I safely started climbing the stairs.

I felt so pathetic for not being able to teleport. I almost feel poor. It's so frustrating. The stairs are uneven, so after a like a 150 steps, I started tripping. At this point, my anger issues are starting to kick in. Maybe I haven't fallen completely to the ground, but every time I nearly did because of the uneven steps, a curse word escaped my mouth.

After what felt like 10 hours, I made it to the end of the stairs. I was so out of breath and sweaty that I barely even noticed that there were no more stairs. When I realized that I made it, I looked around. I'm so high up that the clouds are almost just above me. It's also colder here that I had to make a flame in my hand. It's such a beautiful view from up here. I can see shiny frozen rivers and small villages with a touch of snowy pine trees all around from up here.

I took plenty of pictures with my phone so this trip will be worth it even if I don't find that petty blacksmith. I swear to God at this point I'm going to kill someone if she's not up here.

After I finished I looked around and a little higher there was a cave entrance with a faint light. I assume that that is my goal. I started climbing the mountain itself and when I made it I was greeted by a rough, slightly damaged wooden sign that reads 'Keep out!' in an old German font that used to be on newspapers in Germany in the 1930s.
