10:13 AM

That's what the clock reads after I woke up from a restless night, once again. I still have flashbacks from how my arm was ripped off of my body and it makes it tingle again. However, there is no pain as for now, or I hope any time soon, I just sort of space out for a few seconds and then jump at the tingling feeling as I snap out of it.

It's kinda like when you fall asleep and then feel like you're falling and right before you hit the ground and turn into a splat of mashed potatoes, you wake up nearly jumping out of your bed.

Except that in my case right now, I'm not sleeping. More like daydreaming and not in a good way. In fact, in a very graphic and painful manner, might I add. Every single memory is fast, bright and flashy, like someone is taking a picture with a bright white flash, flashing right into your eyes so that they kind of glow red in the picture.

The fact that my feet, hand and back feel cold is not helping. It's like my hand and feet were stuck into a freezer for hours and then taken out. It feels like small bugs are crawling down my back, almost like cold sweat going down your back slowly, but a lot worse.

God, what a night, I thought to myself as I rubbed my eye. I looked into the mirror and it shows. I have black circles under my eyes.

"Damn, now I really look like I feel.." I murmured in a typical 'just woke up' voice.

I looked back at the clock again and realized that I missed breakfast. I don't really care much about it because I don't feel hungry at all. To be honest, I feel sick. Like I'm about to vomit. I guess me having all those bloody flashbacks last night really fucked me up.

"There is no air in this room." I said as I put my bare foot on the floor. I flinched at how cold it was. I hesitated, but tried again. I flinched again it felt even colder! I give up.

I layed back down and covered myself with the blanket up to my chin slowly with an irritated angry look on my face. I sighed loudly in annoyance. I can't even get out of bed. My eyes slowly start to close. Suddenly, the door ripped open and so did my eyes.

What the fuck? I think to myself as I sit up, preparing for the worst of the worst.

"PATRICIA!" One girl shouted with a brittish accent.

"TRICIA, YE'RE ALIVE!" Shouted the other one with a southern accent.

Before I could process what was happening, I was hugged from either side by two crying retards.

I blinked twice with a dazed look to process what was happening. I looked at both of them and recognized them instantly. It's my best girl friends Ray and Laura. They were the first ever friends that I had made besides Skyler and Sydney back at the orphanage and have stayed that way ever since we met in school. I put my arm around Laura's waist, accepting the hug.

"Yeah yeah, I'm alive alright.." I said tiredly, comforting both of them.

"Don't give us that tone like it's nothing, damn it! We actually thought you died!" Laura said, giving me a light punch on the shoulder, making me giggle.

"Don't hit her, Laurie! Just look at her she has gone through enough now!" Ray said right back at her, making me giggle more.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, guys. I swear I am." I said with a soft smile plastered on my face.

Laura sighed

"Well, we're glad you are.." Laura then said.

All three of us went quiet for a minute to appreciate our reunion. I glance at Laura and she just looks tired. She's pretty good at looking tired because she usually looks that way, but this time, it's different.

"Man, you both really missed me that much, huh?" I glanced at Ray now.

"We sure did." Ray said, getting up.

"There wasn't a single sign of life from ya. We only found out ye were fine from Sasha yesterday. Ye really had us worried, girl." She added, wiping her tears with her too long sleeves.

"Don't say it like it's her fault, Ray." Laura let go of me.

"She just lost her mother and doesn't seem to have anything to contact us with."

"Ye're right. I didn't mean to sound that way." Ray smiled awkwardly, rubbing her neck.

"By the way, if you don't mind me asking.." Laura started giving me a bored look.

"Why do you look so different?" Laura raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, why is that or how is that, Tricia?" Ray added, giving me the same relaxed cat smile as always.

Oh boy, here we go again..
