I woke up feeling warm. It's not a bad warm, it's a very nice warm. Sunlight gently caresses my skin. I looked down at my legs. They are covered in cherry blossom petals! I looked around and they were everywhere!

"Hey Tricia!" A voice I instantly recognized called.

I looked up and it was exactly what my first thought was.

"Sasha?" I called back to him getting up.

"Come sit with me, Tricia!" He requested.

He was sitting underneath a giant cherry blossom tree. I couldn't possibly say no. So I walked towards him. I would run, but all the petals on the ground make it hard to do so. Petals are falling from my thighs with each step and as Sasha was waiting patiently for me to join him, I soon made it.

He was sitting on a checkered pink and white fluffy picnic blanket! It matches with the petals. He also has a picnic basket right beside him.

I sat down on the opposite side of him so that I could admire him in this sunlight. His hair is glittering as it moves with the soft wind gently. His skin looks soft, like from a beauty filter and his eyes sparkle. I never thought his smile could be any more charming.

He reached into the basket and pulled out a plate of vanilla cookies with sprinkles on them.

"Here, take one!" He said, holding the plate towards me and smiling warmly.

"He he, thanks." I said and took one.

He took one as well and set the plate to the side. I took a bite and they were full of vanilla flavor. We enjoyed some of the cookies together and talked for what felt like ages.

"Do you remember when we first met?" He asked me.

I chuckled.

"How could I possibly forget!" I answered.

"He he yea.." He said, rubbing his neck in shame.

"The way you ran full speed into me from the back is something I'll never forget!" I joked.

"Oh, come on! You know that was an accident!" He exclaimed.

"Yea yea, I know. You made it up to me as soon as you helped me pick up my papers from my sketchbook." I told him.

"I couldn't have possibly just left you there in the hallway." He said.

"And you've never left ever since!" I giggled.

...

"I'm sorry." Sasha said.

"Wha?" I looked at him, confused with a smile.

"I'm sorry." He looked at me with wide eyes and no smile.

"Sasha, what are you-"

"I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry."

His expression didn't change, but our surroundings got darker.

"I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. "

The tree and petals faded and darkness surrounded us. His face changed. He turned monochrome and stared into my soul. He started crying.

"I'M SORRY. I'M SORRY. I'M SORRY."

He kept repeating.

"I'M SOOOOOOOOOOO--------!!!!!!!"

He screamed, becoming completely disfigured. And his voice sounding uncanny and echoing, making him sound like he was in immense pain.

Suddenly, it all disappeared. A tinnitus like ringing sound stretched as it got louder.

GASP!!!

I woke up in a cold sweat, gripping my sweater and breathing heavily.

"What the f-fuck was that..?" I whispered to myself.

I looked around my room. Everything seems normal. I grabbed my phone from my desk in a flash. It's 6 PM now. I slept for a few hours straight.

"Damn."

I wiped the sweat off my forehead. My breath is normal already. This isn't normal anymore, though. God, I feel uneasy now. I took my phone again and texted Sasha. I asked him about his day in hopes of getting a good response from him.

I know that was just a stupid dream, but I can't help but wonder..

Is he alright?
