"Alright Mr. Kaminari, see you in a couple weeks." The doctor said as she handed Denki his ultrasound pictures. Today was his 5 month appointment, the doctors want him to come back every 2 weeks for check ups just to ensure everything remains fine. It was annoying to constantly be back here, but in the end it was worth it to make sure Denki and our kid were alright.
"The class is getting suspicious," Denki told me on the walk back to UA, "I mean, it's hard not to notice I've gained weight, but I don't think I can keep hiding it." Denki paused for a moment before continuing, "Can you stay with me at UA today? I-I think I'm ready to tell the class."
"Yeah, of course." I replied as I wrapped my arm around his shoulders, "I'll be with you every step of the way."
When we got back to UA Denki quickly got me to the dorms before anyone could spot me. When we got inside the entirety of 2A was on the couch watching a movie. "Hey Denki, welcome ba-" Ashido began, stopping when she saw me. She never got a chance to continue, Denki quickly took my hand and pulled me to his room. He quickly closed the door behind us, letting out a sigh as he leaned on the door.
"You alright?" I asked before taking off my hood and mask.
"Yeah, I'm good. I just need a little bit to prepare myself, that's all." Denki replied before walking over to his bed. He sat down and reached his arms out towards me. I walked over and sat behind him so he could lean back on me. Once he was comfortable I placed one hand on his side and one on his abdomen, moving it in small circles. The baby started kicking not all that long ago and Denki always complains about it hurting his stomach, I do my best to comfort him whenever I can.
"Do you think they'll hate me?" Denki asked.
"I don't. They're your friends, right? I highly doubt they'd hate you for this."
"It so much bigger than anything else though, Toshi. It'd be one thing if I was just trans, but I also have to tell them I'm pregnant and that it's yours, you know how they feel about you." I could feel Denki's breathing slowly start to pick up.
I carefully pulled Denki closer to me, "Calm down, it'll be alright. They can hate me all they want, but they won't hate you. I don't think they'll ever hate you. It's your child too, I'm sure they'll be excited about it."
Denki slowly started to calm down as he took deep breaths. "Yeah, they're my friends, they're bound to support me." Denki whispered to himself. "Can we go tell them now? I don't think I'll be able to if we wait any longer."
"If you're ready, yeah." I said. Denki nodded and took my hand before getting off the bed and heading downstairs.
We went down to the living room where the class was still watching something. Denki approached the couches and stopped right when we were in sight. "Um, can we talk to you guys about something?" Denki asked.
"Is- Is everything alright?" Ashiso questioned, looking from Denki to me.
"Yeah, everything's fine. I just, really need to tell you guys something." Denki replied, a nervous smile on his face.
"Is it about how fat you've gotten?" Mineta commented with a smirk. Ashido quickly kicked him, sending him flying off the couch.
"I thought we agreed we wouldn't mention that?!" She yelled.
"A-Actually it is about that." Denki said, making Ashido calm back down. Denki led me to one of the empty couches and sat close to me. I rested my hand on Denki's side, noticing that everybody was staring at him in curiosity. Denki took a deep breath before starting, "I've been wanting to talk to you guys about this for a while, but I know how you guys feel about Toshi a-and I didn't want you guys to get mad at me or hate me."
   "Denki-"
"Just, please let me finish before saying anything, I don't want to lose the little courage I have right now." Denki said, taking another deep breath before he continued, "You know how I've been needing to leave randomly every couple weeks? I've been going to the doctor. I'm ok, nothing's wrong but I've been needing to get checkups because I- I'm pregnant."
Silence. The class' eyes went wide, multiple of them looking between Denki and I while others just stared at Denki in confusion. The only ones with no confusion were Katsuki and Eijiro, who were giving us supportive smiles. The silence quickly ended by everybody asking multiple questions at the same time. Denki moved a little closer to me, spooked by the sudden burst of questions. "One at a time, you're overwhelming him." I said sternly, getting them to quite down.
After that one by one people asked questions, Denki answered them all. Once everybody asked their questions Denki kind of just looked around, confused. "You guys aren't mad? You don't hate me?"
"Denki, we wouldn't hate you over this. We're happy for you, you're going to be a great dad." Ashido said, giving Denki a soft smile.
"But it's Toshi's-"
"We know. If we're being honest here we don't really hate Shinso, we just feel uneasy around him." Iida said.
"As long as he's taking care of you and you're happy then that's all that really matters to us." Midoriya said, smiling. The class nodded in agreement.
"I'm sorry. We all are for how we've been acting around you Shinso, and for how we've been talking about you. It's not right, you just live a different life than us, we shouldn't be judging you like that. We're sorry, you'll always be a part of our class." Ashido said to me.
Before I could say anything the door opened and Eraserhead walked inside. "Guys-" He began, freezing when he saw me. I shot up and quickly made my way up the stairs. "Shinso, wait!" I heard Eraserhead call out, though I didn't stop. I made my way to what used to be my dorm room and ran inside and to the balcony.
I jumped down from balcony to balcony, quickly making my way to the ground. "Shinso!" Somebody called out behind me, though I never found out who. I kept running until I was out of UA, the gates slamming behind me as I continued down the street. I ran until I got back to base, grateful that I managed to escape without being caught.
