Bucky and I curled up on the couch, watching "The Truman Show".

"So the entire town was in on it?" I asked Bucky. He laughed and nodded. I had been asking questions all throughout the movie.

"Yes, sweetheart. Everyone. They've been watching him ever since he was born"

"That's so scary" I mumbled. I felt him grab my hand and I happily interlocked my fingers with his.

The movie ended a little while later so we decided to put on another one.

"Kenya said 'Forrest Gump' is good" Bucky says

I smiled, "Yeah, that's one of her favorite movies"

I looked at him and seen he was already smiling at me

"I'll put that on then. Kenn has good taste so it must be good"

"Okay" I say, "Speaking of Kenya, have you talked to her today?"

"Nope. I do miss her though."

"Yeah, so do I."

There was brief moment of silence

"Thor and I wanna take her on a date" Bucky says

"Nat and I wanna do the same" I laugh, "Kenn wants a date with all of us"

"She's booked up though. And Thor won't be back until next week"

"We should have a date next week then"

"You think so? You don't think she'll be gone for Thanksgiving?"

"No. I mean, Thanksgiving's not until the week after next, and Nat told me that Kenya said she'll be working through the holidays."

Bucky scrunched up his eyebrows and pulled his phone out, I'm assuming to call Kenya

The phone rung a few times before she answered. He quickly put the phone on speaker.

"Hey Buck" She greeted

"Hi. How are you?"

"Sleepy. But glad you called, how bout you?"

"I'm fine. Wanda and I are actually watching a movie"

"Oh that's cool. Tell Wanda I said hi"

"Hi Kenya" I say, causing her to giggle

"Hey sweetheart" She says back, warming my heart

"So um, Thor comes back next week. We were wondering if we could take you out"

"Oh, yeah that sounds nice. Us and Thor or everyone?"

"Everyone. Though I'm mad I hadn't got a solo date yet"

"You'll get one, don't worry. But yeah, just tell me the date and time and I'll be there."

"I'll let Tony plan the date, he's good at that stuff"

She laughed, "Alright"

Bucky nervously bit his lip before sighing

"Kenn, what's your plans for Thanksgiving?"

"Nothing. I was just gonna go to work" She said

"I thought you shut business down for the holidays" Bucky said

"I do, all my employees go home and stuff. They get time off, I just keep working."

"That's not good, Kenn" I say

"Been that way since I was 18. Used to it."

Bucky and I exchanged sad looks. I definitely don't want Kenya alone for Thanksgiving. Nor Christmas. Nor New Years.

"How about you spend the holidays with us? Do you celebrate?"

"Yeah I do, but I wouldn't want to impose" She began

"Nonsense" Bucky interrupted, "Come spend Thanksgiving with us. Just that day. Then, if you want, Christmas"

"Then you'll be asking for New Years" She joked, "But um, okay. If everyone is cool with it- I'll be there"

"Great" Bucky and I said at the same time

"Okay, make sure one of y'all call me with the details for our date. See you then"

"See you then, bye"

"Bye" She says before hanging up.

Bucky and I looked at each other before simultaneously grinning

"So we're totally marrying her, right?"

"It's a little soon, but yeah." He agreed

Okay so in the book, it's mid November ❤️

Though I may not include specific dates in the books, I do keep track with the timeline of the book.

So, for those wondering, Kenya met them in August and it's November. So she's known them for a little over three months.
