Taylor's pov
Ever since I found out that I was most likely pregnant, Katrina and Angelina have been with me constantly. Even if I was just alone in my apartment or sitting in the traphouse somewhere, they'd check in on me.
I was grateful for that, but Alex was around the apartment more and she was definitely knowing something was up.
There were a couple of times where she would try and question me, but I couldn't possibly tell her simply because I didn't want her to know.
Today was one of the days where she wouldn't leave me alone.
"Hey Taylor," She said, bursting through the door and plopping down on my bed.
I looked up from the book I was reading, shuffling myself into a sitting position so I could be as far away from her as possible without being disrespectful.
"What are you doing?" Alex asked, and I motioned to my book.
"Same thing as when you walked in last time. And the time before, and the time before that," I sighed with exasperation.
"I'm worried about you, Tay. If Angelina and Katrina are able to worry about you and check in on you whenever they want, then I can too," Alex huffed, crossing her arms.
I rolled my eyes at her immaturity, "Yeah, well that's different,"
"How so?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
I couldn't actually answer her question, not without exposing myself and what I know.
"Can you leave, please? You're disturbing my peace," I waved around to the room, with calming meditation music playing off my phone and my fairy lights on that I had strung through my curtains, giving the room a soft glow.
"You aren't my boss, Taylor. I can do as I please," She snapped before softening her tone, "Why won't you tell me what's going on? You don't talk to me anymore,"
"I would tell you if it was important for you to know. And it's not, so please, understand that and just get out," I repeated, and she subtly shook her head, indicating that wasn't what she would be planning on doing.
I slammed my book shut, throwing it beside me and grabbing my phone. "What are you doing?" She asked, watching me as I quickly put clean clothes in my bookbag and zipped it up.
"I'm leaving. Okay? If you won't get out, then I will," I hiked the bookbag onto my shoulder, turning around and glaring at her.
"That's not fair, Taylor," Alex whined, "We never get to hang out like we used to,"
"I don't want to hang out with you if you are going to act like this!" I waved up and down at her, "And I'm a grown adult, I can do as I please,"
I spun around on my heels, slipping on my crocs before walking out of the apartment. I took the elevator down to the lobby floor before walking out to the garage.
I've started using my car since I got it back from Gray and Mikey at the party I went to with Angelina.
The Uber drivers might miss me, but I sure as hell won't miss spending my entire paycheck on getting a ride.
For LA, traffic wasn't that bad, and I was over at the Traphouse in less than a half an hour.
It wasn't normal for me to show up unexpectedly, but everyone insisted I didn't need an invite to get in the house.
Sam showed me how to unlock the gates from my phone, and this was my first time having to do it on my own so I was anxious that it wouldn't work.
I pulled my car in next to Jake's as usual, shutting it off and getting out, making my way to the door.
It was a very unwise decision for them not to lock their door, because I just came right in.
"Hello?" I shouted, seeing where everyone was.
I heard a squeal from upstairs, and I looked up at the overhang to see Katrina leaning over it, taking in my appearance before running down the stairs.
"I'm so happy you're here! I was just thinking about you!" I giggled at her level of energy as she swung me around, "There's someone I want you to meet, you'll love her I promise," She grabbed my hand and led me up the stairs and into Sam's room to where another beautiful girl was sitting.
"Oh my god Katrina be careful!" She said, her voice deep and gorgeous just like the rest of her.
This girl's hair was blonde, with dark growing in roots. It was styled that way, and her outfit matched her makeup. The way she sat on Sam's bed made her look angelic, and I knew I would instantly like her.
"I'm Anastasia, but you can call me Stas," She held her arms out to me, standing to give me a polite hug.
"I'm Taylor, it's nice to meet you!" I smiled, glancing over at Katrina.
Stas gasping brought my attention back to her, and she looked almost as excited as Katrina had been moments ago.
"That's you! Everyone was right about you!" She nudged me, and once again I looked over at Katrina, "I heard so much about you!"
"All bad things, I hope," I joked, winking at the girls.
"Of course not!" Stas clicked her tongue, "I've heard so much about you it's insane. They told me how pretty you were and how you had a great sense of humor,"
"Awe," I felt my face get red as I looked back over at Kat, who nodded to confirm everything Stas was saying, "Well, what are we doing tonight?" I asked, looking back and forth between the two of them.
"Whatever you want to do is fine with me," Stas said before letting out an excited laugh, "I know! We should do karaoke, I love karaoke,"
"Why does that sound like so much fun right now though?" Kat asked, rubbing her chin thoughtfully.
"Let's do it," I clapped, "Do we have microphones?"
"Of course we do!" Kat skipped over to the dresser across the room, "Aryia got me these cool things a while back, and Corey paid a guy to make our living room lights flash rainbow colors for when we throw parties,"
"Can we turn them on?" Stas asked, clasping her hands together.
"Duh!" Katrina shouted with an obvious tone, handing the both of us wireless microphones one at a time, "Why do you think I brought them up?"
"Corey!" She shouted, leading the way out of Sam's bedroom and down the stairs, "Corey!" She sang.
"Corey isn't available, please come back later!" Corey shouted from his room underneath the stairs.
"We need a favor," Stas stood in front of Kat, opening the door and walking into his room.
He was laying on his bed on top of the blankets, hugging a pillow as he scrolled through his phone, "I'm sleeping," He insisted.
"Yeah, uh-huh," I brushed off his excuse, "Can you turn the disco lights on in the living room? We're doing karaoke night,"
"Oh, yeah," Corey didn't move, instead he tapped away on his phone.
"Thank you, you're the best," Katrina said, holding the door for Stas and I before shutting it behind us.
We walked into the White Claw room, where the lights were now flashing a variety of colors: red, green, blue being the more prominent ones.
"Okay, let's start off with something easy," Katrina said, turning on a speaker in the corner of the room that began to play a very familiar tune.
"Hey baby won't you come my way, I can be your new addiction!" Kat sang, grabbing Stas's free hand with her own, spinning her around before we actually started dancing and singing.
Nights like these were fun, where we could be entertained without alcohol and without stress. For the first time in a long time, I didn't even think of Colby or Alex at all.
The three of us danced and partied, Corey and Jake eventually joining us for a short while. Sam and Colby were out for the night, filming with Manny and Larry.
I had no idea who they were, but they apparently were Youtubers like everyone else, too.
I also didn't really care, seeing as I trusted Sam not to let them do anything stupid.
