Taylor's pov
"Is it raining?" I patted my head where I swore a raindrop fell on it for the third time.
"No," Colby laughed at me, "I think you're going crazy,"
He threw his arm over my shoulder as we walked on the wider part of the path. Though the scenery was beautiful, I could really focus on Colby.
The way he smiled when he cracked a perverted joke, or if we spotted an animal his eyes would light up. The bashful grin he had on his face when I took a video for my Instagram. It was something silly, just the two of us making funny faces.
I couldn't bring myself to post it though. Something kept me from doing that.
"Okay, maybe it is raining," He said now that we could actually hear the water hitting the trees and feel it begin to soak through our clothes.
"Good thing we're heading back," I shook his arm off me, pulling my hood up before I took off towards his car.
I didn't care whether or not Colby was running, but I did not want to get sick from being out in this weather.
Colby had taken medication this morning for whatever he had caught, but I didn't want to be next.
I spotted the car and picked up my pace, only stopping when I latched onto the door handle and wiggled it.
"Colby Brock open the damn car!" I shouted as he came from around the corner.
He was taking his good old time, walking up to me with his hands in his jean pockets.
"I don't want you to ruin my seats with your wet ass," He pouted, stopping less than a couple feet in front of me.
"I'm only getting wetter- oh that sounds so bad," I put my face in my hands, shaking my head while Colby laughed at me.
"That was my intention," He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me forward just enough to open his car door.
"Oh fuck you," I joked as Colby pushed me into the passenger seat.
"Your welcome," He shouted through the door that was now shut.
He surely took his time, walking around the car to get in and out of the rain. It was as if he liked it.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the rain. I missed the weather changes that we never really got in Texas but though they didn't happen often, it happened more than here in LA.
I was used to it now, though.
I must have fallen asleep in the car, because I was being shaken awake by Colby, "Babe, we're home," He cooed.
Honestly, if I wasn't so tired I would have slapped him for talking to me with such a soft tone, but I didn't care enough to do so right now.
The rain had died down a little, now only lightly raining. My clothes were still damp from earlier, so I didn't bother trying to run to get back into the house.
Once we were both inside I looked over at him, "Is it alright if I get in the shower?"
Colby shrugged, "I don't care," He kissed the side of my head when we got to the bottom of the steps, "I'm going to see what Corey is up to,"
I watched Colby as he walked into Corey's room, who shouted something but I didn't pick up what it was. Shaking my head, I walked up the stairs to Colby's bedroom.
I went straight to the bathroom since everything I needed in there was already there.
Before taking off anything besides my hoodie, I turned on the shower to let the water heat up.
