Taylor's pov

I held a finger to my lips as the bedroom door opened. It was Jake, and I pointed down to Colby, who was now asleep.

We both knew Colby was a heavy sleeper, but I liked to be cautious, just in case.

Jake crept into the room, leaving the door opened behind him to minimize the amount of noise he'd have to make.

"Do you wanna film a video with me?" He whispered, leaning over the back of the couch.

"What are you doing?" I responded in a voice similar to his.

Jake wiggled his finger at Colby, and I had to do my best not to laugh at how Colby didn't react. It's not like he could, being that he was asleep.

"I'm opening a military food box," He explained, turning his attention to me, "Or we can do Corey's dance video, because he wanted me to ask you about that too,"

"Yeah, I'll do them," I agreed, "Both of them today?"

Jake nodded, "Yeah, I'll let you sneak away though," He whispered, "Thank you, you're the best!" He quietly jogged out of the room, leaving the door shut behind him.

As soon as he left, he shouted, "She said she's down!" and I froze, waiting to see if Colby would react. He stirred, but sighed before falling silent once again.

I rested my hands behind me, leaning my weight on them. I was going to have to get the lower half of my body out from underneath Colby without waking him up. I didn't understand how easy or difficult it could be.

As slowly as possible, I scooted myself backwards, pausing to grab a pillow from the couch to replace my stomach. I tucked my hand underneath his head, gently lifting it upwards just enough to get my body out from underneath him.

I completely forgot about his hands being underneath me, wrapped around my back. Their grip on me tightened when I went to pull them away, but after a couple seconds of sitting still they fell loose again, which was enough for me to move my body out of the way.

I scooted myself backwards even further while putting the pillow down underneath his head.

I paused for a second, waiting to see if he'd wake up after being put into a new position. He didn't, and I waited a couple more seconds before standing up, grabbing the blanket folded over the back of the couch and laying it over his waist.

I took a moment to be proud of myself, in my accomplishment that is sneaking away while he's sleeping without waking him up.

I got down on my knees in front of his head, kissing him quickly. So much for thinking I wouldn't wake him up, because his eyes fluttered open at my actions.

"What are you doing?" His voice was quiet, not quite a morning voice seeing as he didn't sleep for that long but it was getting there.

I could tell he wasn't fully awake, his eyes falling shut once again, "I'm going to buy a giraffe," I spoke quietly, hoping that he would be able to continue his nap once I left, "Go back to sleep,"

His eyebrows lowered, his face scrunching up in confusion, "Okay," Colby coughed once, then turned his head the other way, getting into a position that was most likely more comfortable for him.

I covered my mouth to silence the giggle that escaped it. My answer made absolutely no sense, seeing as there was nowhere for me to put a giraffe if I bought one, anyway.

I tiptoed out of his bedroom, this time shutting the door behind me. I made my way downstairs, listening to see if I could locate Jake or Corey.

That didn't take long because Corey popped out of his bedroom, with Jake and Reggie following him. "Oh, hi Reggie," I waved in surprise, "I didn't know you were here,"
